I am honestly so disappointed by the experience we just had. My boyfriend is visiting, so I wanted to take him here to try and enjoy some local food. I had been here once before and my experience was awesome. We get in, we look at the menu, give them our order, and we go to sit down. We waited about 35? 40? minutes before we finally said okay, what’s up. My boyfriend went over to check on his fresh squeezed OJ, as we had seen other OJs going out to other tables (who got there later), and he figured he’d at least see if that was ready. He is informed that they had run out of oranges almost 30 minutes ago, so he should probably just grab one from the cooler. Would have been nice to know, considering we paid the extra little bit for it, but okay. They’re busy, they’re stressed, we’ll get over it. About 50 minutes go by and the first thing of French toast comes out. No silverware, no syrup, so my boyfriend goes to try and obtain some, so he can start eating. He’s informed that they’ll bring it with my pancakes. That’s would have been absolutely fine, except we waited about another 10 minutes for my pancakes. So at this point, his food is cold. We finally get my food, we remind the girl about syrup, please, and we wait some more. We finally get syrup, we finally get silverware (after the dude who took our order, who’s pretty much doing his best to look busy at this point, and his ignoring every patron in his immediate vicinity, admits after we say something “oh! We were supposed to give you that when you ordered”) and our foods cold. We considered sending it back, but at this point we weren’t prepared to wait another hour for some food. Over an hour waiting for some pancakes and French toast, watching other tables get served, and listening to the dude who, again, took our order, argue with customers about “what was on the ticket” versus what they actually ordered, which tells me nobody was really happy this morning. That was the final straw for me-listening to this man argue with patrons who have all been waiting nearly an hour for some pancakes and eggs. This tells me we really didn’t matter to them as patrons. I really don’t think we’ll be back, which is a shame, because the food was super good this first time I went. But it’s apparent to me that our satisfaction as paying customers isn’t really a priority to...
Read moreWent to Stacked today and yes their Pancakes are delicious. So this review is based totally on customer service. We came in with 10 people, including 1 in a high chair. We looked downstairs and there was seating, but none together. We walked upstairs to the bigger room and carried a high chair with us. When we got upstairs there was a family of 7 or 8 people already sitting up there. We pulled two tables together and all sat down to wait for the breakfast we ordered. A young man who worked for Stacked came upstairs and told us he did not know why this door to this area was open, because it was closed until they had more people come in to eat. We thought he was kidding. He said there was plenty of seating downstairs for us to all fit. That was a correct statement but we ended up at 2 different tables so we could not enjoy everyone's company. Which wasn't great since we had a daughter visiting from out of town and all wanted to talk with her. We went to Stacked because we knew there was a large room and have sat there a couple times before. The other family came downstairs also. Stacked isn't a restaurant with a waitress you put a number on your table and they bring you the food. We would have gladly walked downstairs and got our own food and brought it back upstairs. What happened to Customer service or the Customer is always right? The first family did not open the door they went upstairs and sat down at a large table. Our family went upstairs and did the same thing. Just an oversight on Stacked's end with a door not being closed. When the door is closed there is a sign on it that says area closed. Unfortunately, I am leaving this review. The first thing I would always say to people is Stacked has great pancakes, now my first thought will be let me tell you about our experience at Stacked it...
Read moreI ordered take out and was told it would take 5 -10 minutes as they were not very busy. I arrived about 15+ minutes later from the time I hung up. Then I waited in line for roughly half an hour. There was 1 ticket ahead of me the entire time. I was not pleased as my food had been sitting there for some time now and lost some freshness and I was not anticipating this wait based on what I was told. I asked if there was anyway they could "comp" me for the wait. Adam was at the register that day and we went back and forth about the wait time and if the food was cold, nothing rude. He opened up my order to check and let me know it was still good (which it was when I got home). I said, "alright...", and handed him my gift card. He decided he would check to see how long it was since the order was put out and see if there was anything they could do, instead. He came back and let me know that I could keep the card and the meal was free this once. That was completely unexpected service. He kept his tone professional and went above and beyond what was expected. I was honestly thinking maybe I could get a dollar or two knocked off the total as I knew they were short staffed or even just an apology. Adam did a great job handling it and the ticket in front of me that was also upset and voiced her opinion. He maintained his composure and wished me a happy day. Amazing food and great staff. They just need more people and possibly a 2nd side register to help with rushes. Even if I got poor service I would still buy their food, delicious, absolutely, delicious. They could raise their prices and pay their staff more and I...
