Grounds For Coffee — Restaurant in Logan

We came in 25 min before closing. There were 6 of us. We had just spent the night at the downtown skating rink. When we walked in and started to look at the menu on the wall my husband spoke to the barista and she said, “ well, I just finished cleaning everything, but it’s ok.” She said, “ you guys can order something.” It made us very uncomfortable. There was no way we were going to ask her to make us something after she pointed out that she had cleaned the machines. We are new to Logan and were trying to support a local business. We went to Starbucks instead. There was no need for her to say that she had cleaned the machines already. A “ hey guys, what can I get ya” would have been great. The employees are awesome...... whoever is managing this coffee shop is horrible. I've been in on weekends and on a holiday weekend with only 1 person working and the line out the door. The employees look like they want to quit, and I can't blame them at all for that. She remained cheerful and was great to work with, but you could tell she was extremely overwhelmed. Staffing 1 employee on the weekend in any restaurant in this town...

love this place for their atmosphere and their fun drinks. their matcha is the best, not like the cheap and poor quality stuff at strbcks :] they have a decent reward system on cashapp, however i wish it wasn't 1 pt per drink, as it adds up (10 drinks = 10 pts to redeem for anything decent), haven't had their pastries but they have a good bagel selection! and they sell almost all of their syrups and teas in house which is super...
