Pizza is good and it’s a nice atmosphere (very hipstery) with friendly staff, but I gave a low rating because my husband and I came in and ended up paying $46 for two 14” pizzas. I have allergies to gluten, eggs and dairy so pizza is usually very limited unless I make it myself so we were excited to try Lucky Slice. While I appreciate the vegan and gluten-free options and customization, it’s very expensive (my gluten free crust with vegan cheese cost $25.50) and you’re probably better off making your own at home or trying somewhere else. Just the vegan cheese cost $4 (you can get a whole bag for that at the grocery store) and it’s $6 to make anything gluten free. Even my husband’s pizza, while good, wasn’t worth the $18 he spent on it. I totally get gluten and dietary options can be expensive, but if I’m going to pay that much I would hope it would the best freaking pizza I’ve ever eaten

They have a gluten-free pizza now. They can make almost all of their pizzas gluten-free. There is cross-contamination, so I always recommend coming early. Slices can not be bought, but a whole pizza can. I recommend eating in or taking it to go. You can call ahead to order for pick up, check to make sure they have the dough. The place is relaxed, as I remember. This is a somewhat open kitchen, so you can smell some of the smoke. I had their 14-inch pizza, which they can make gluten-free for $18. It is on the pricier side. However, it is enough for two people. I recommend ranch dipping sauce as it is New York style and the crust is crunchy . For a large dipping sauce, it is $2. There is usually at least a 20-minute to 40-minute wait time, so please be prepared accordingly.

UPDATE 10/23: The manager contacted me and made things right. We went back last week and had a better experience. Excellent service. Great vegan options, could use more variety and rotation on the vegan menu. Great atmosphere and awesome live music (on a Saturday evening). Too expensive. I find it extra annoying when they ask for a tip on pickup orders. But everyone does that now. The rewards program is good. The pizza is thin crust, but not very filling, adding insult to injury on the pricing. Also they never have pick up orders ready on time. I don't know if they just don't start until I get there, but when I order I'm told 25 minutes and I always wait an extra 10-20 minutes.

I've been going to this place for nearly 5 years! No matter what kind of pizza you get, you are guaranteed a great meal. I'm not a regular customer here, but I do come every few months or so. I have never not been treated kindly and warmly by the workers. The environment was always pretty easy going. It was a great family atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable.

One time, I came with my boss and we talked about the meaning of life. After all, time is the thing we each have the least of, so why not try to learn from each other, right? We each ate a Marghe slice of pizza with the delicious parmesan topping (Highly recommend it by the way!).

Tonight I was pondering the meaning of life in a similar way, but this time on my own at my apartment. I was thinking about how crazy the year has been for everyone. I was thinking about how we have become disenchanted with reality. I was thinking about why someone else's fear should not dictate where my freedom begins. And then I realized that I need to stand up for myself. To celebrate this realization I went to Lucky Slice, because pizza is naturally a good meal for a celebration (I think Lucky Slice would agree with me on this).

At Lucky Slice this evening, there was only one person in front of me that a worker was helping as I walked in. I decided to take a look around. I looked at the amazing art, I looked at the tasty pizza, I looked at the empty tables, and I awkwardly glimpsed at the two lonely workers. In front of me, there was a glass wall between me and the worker. I then gazed upon the extraordinary way we have raised the state of concern in our society, and my celebrational attitude faded.

Like all the other times, I was greeted warmly and kindly. The worker asked me if I had ever been there before, and I said yes. Then the worker asked me if I had a mask. I did not. The worker then told me that if I was going to receive service, I had to wear a mask. In my feeling of what is good and right, I told the worker that I was going to refuse to comply. Then the worker calmly, but oh so proudly, said "Well, we can't serve you the. So see ya." I said alright, and I walked out.

I still would love to come here again. Seriously, the Marghe pizza is THAT good! I want to be able to bring my friends here. I want to be able to have a good time eating pizza again. I think we can all agree it has been a year of growth for everyone... but we cannot keep thinking that needlessness is the way we reclaim human dignity. I don't think I am the only one that thinks this way. There is truth in lying to yourself, but it is where you least want to look - in the mirror.

Hope we can come back for pizza soon when we don't have to be taken advantage of - I mean when we don't have...

Was really excited to try a new pizza place, which based off reviews and friends I was told was a good place to eat. First of all, I understand this place opened in the last week, so some leeway is granted to work out the kinks. Me and my wife went in with our kids to an almost empty dining room around 630 on a sunday. Expected things to be great considering there was nobody there. The pizza choices are different and very enjoyable at first glance, but very pricey. I spent 45 bucks on 2 pizzas and wings and a salad. Wow. Thats pricey but hey I will try it because its a new business. We got the wings pretty quick, however after i received them I was apalled (see pic below) at the size and quality of them. There was almost no meat on them and were by far the worst wings I have ever had. We finished our wings and promptly waited for our pizzas. We waited for 45 mins for our pizzas, and only after asking an employee twice did there seem to be any urgency, mind you there was nobody else ordering so I would believe it wouldnt be that difficult to get the pizzas out faster. Nobody ever asked how the food was, never received a receipt, and employees seemed to be zombies, with no real emotion or desire to be there. The pizza was just average, like little caesars except way more money. No sauce, now wow factor, just bland all around. I hate leaving negative reviews but i feel confused as previous customers obviously had a better experience then me based off reviews. Sadly I do not believe I will be back again, not at that price and quality. Oh and as a casual drinker, I was expecting a cold beer with my dinner as there website and menu said they served beer, but there was none. Or no signage for any. Should probably not say you have something...

This is a very difficult place to give an accurate rating. Approximately every other time we’ve ordered pizza it’s been a 4 to 5 star pizza. On the other occasions it’s been a 2 to 3 star pizza; so very inconsistent. Here’s the clincher, tonight I ordered a pizza and was told they were kind of busy so it would be 35 to 45 minutes before we would get our pizza. After it had been approximately 90 minutes and no pizza I called. They said they were sorry and our pizza had just come out of the oven and they would have it to us in 10 to 15 minutes. I said okay. After 30 minutes and still no pizza I called and told them to cancel my order and refund my card. They said they were sorry and they would do that. So my wife and I headed out to get a burger. While we were out I receive a call and text from the delivery person and get notice from my security camera. Anyway close to 2 and 1/2 hours after I placed the order they show up to deliver it even though I’d called and got the order canceled. So to summarize: inconsistent food, not very good at estimating delivery time and poor communication amongst the workers after i canceled my order. This place needs to close for a few weeks and train there staff to achieve consistency in their product and better communication skills amongst their employees. This place has some potential but until they fix their issues my recommendation is to AVOID...
