3 because of service. 5 for food. I got there at 11:o5 was seated already knew what l wanted. Order taken. I had a Monte cristo and a cup of soup with iron port drink. She brought me a roll. There were 3 tables with people. 2 already had food. My waitress and 2 other girls were gathered at the end of the counter talking. I kept waiting. The one girl was putting up her hair. The owner came in and the girls scattered like bugs when the lights go on. I was waiting 20 min. Still no soup. I finally got her attention and asked her to check on my food. Told her l thought since she brought the roll she was going to bring me my soup. She said the soup wasn't finished cooking. I told her she should have let me know and l would have switched to a salad. The girl doing her hair went back behind the counter. I said l hope she at least washes her hands. The food was great. If l had been informed as to what was going on l wouldn't be so upset. They never went to the other 2 tables to check on them. They do not offer Senior Discount. Would l go back probably because the food was great but not if...

What a lovely experience! It was like entering another era long past. When you go in there is a long glassed counter with many delicious handmade chocolates and candy for sale. Upon being seated you are given a delicious freshly-made warm roll and butter. Also, have some honey on your roll upon request.
The Bluebird offered many interesting lunch choices including chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes or many different sandwiches or burgers. They also have nice lunch specials with salmon or pork chops, etc. The prices are very reasonable as well. My freshmade burger with bacon, cheese, and avocado along with fries was under $9. Our lunch was delicious, and the service was excellent.
If you actually had room for dessert there were many different choices including a large selection of ice cream desserts and shakes. The dessert special today was banana cream pie for $1.50 for the generous slice.
We will definitely be back next time we...
Read moreWe've been here for over an hour. A couple of minutes ago, we got our 1st refill of water. We've already eaten dinner and heard this is a great place to get ice cream. So we came here to get some fries and ice cream.
For the 1st ten minutes waiting to be seated, my 8 year old must have commented 10 times, dad why does it stink in here? Dad, what's that smell? Dad, it stinks.
My wife keeps telling her, it's just how old buildings smell. The smell may be a mix of old building and sweating people, because it must be at least 95 degrees in here. Heat, no water, no food and a disappointed family.
Ice cream finally arrived, and it's good, but definitely doesn't make up for everything else! Don't eat here unless you have nothing else to do and are hoping to sweat off the calories as you wait.
Btw - still waiting for the check - 1.5 hours later. Longest ice cream run of my life. Could've drove back to salt lake and picked up ice...
