I’m a frequent customer that always gets the fiesta bowl and I’ve turned several other friends on to Chapo’s as well. On this particular day, I go in with a friend and we both get fiesta bowl’s, mine with steak and chicken and my friends with steak and shrimp. When they came out, my friend’s steak was chopped up like taco meat and we sent it back and my friend ate everything else in the bowl while waiting on the steak strips.
Afterwards it was explained that the waitress had put in the wrong order of steak, which is understandable. The issue was when the waitress came back to check on us and asked if everything was ok, and we both told her that all was well and my friend asked for extra shredded cheese to which the waitress replied that it would be a dollar up charge. So, I interjected and told her that in light of the inconvenience for the wrong order and having to wait for the steak, could they simply waive the up charge. The waitress replied that she couldn’t make that decision and then went to ask only to come back telling us that there was no way to add extra shredded cheese without charging because the system wouldn’t allow it.
At this point my intelligence is insulted and I ask for the manager to whom I kindly replied, “we’re talking about cheese here, not a whole meal” I told her that having worked in retail management, whenever we got something wrong, we owned it and made it right with the customer, even if we had to err on the side of the customer. I told her that our meals today (which I paid for) and residual business is worth more than a dollar up charge for cheese and believe it or not, this manager stood her ground and WOULD NOT give my friend extra cheese at zero cost because as she said, “they did explain to us that the waitress was new and put in the wrong order.”
As a patron who ate here weekly, it’s the principle involved and as a result, I will never eat here again and would never recommend it to anyone! It’s not just about good food, it’s about customer experience and businesses that get it, last long, businesses that don’t, get these kind of reviews over one dollar. It’s terrible these days, it seems post covid that we are returning to 80’s and 90’s era customer service attitudes as though people don’t have options and...

This restaurant has continued to maintain its quality of food and customer service!!!
First off, the food looked so good I forgot to take pictures. The food was cooked very well. We ordered the Chapo style Chilaquiles (fries chips with steak, queso cotija and eggs on top with sauce,) & Chuletas de Puerto a Planca (Grilled Pork Chops) and street tacos. Food was purely phenomenal. Pork chops were so juicy, tender, and well seasoned. Cooked to perfection. Love the lights on the building, the backlit signage is gorgeous. The sculptures are perfect theme setting. The booth seats are very comfortable, large and the look great. The service was very hospitable and was very helpful with any questions I had. The custom glasses are a nice addition to the ambiance and decor. The Jamaica drink was nice as well. (I truly enjoy when a place has a natural drink. Not just soda and alcohol!) Don't let me forget The street tacos. They were done to perfection. We ordered a variety of them. They all were great! And Filled with meat!
My only critiques are that my Pina Colada was not blended well enough. It had very large chucks of ice that made it difficult to drink. Couldn't drink from a straw or out the glass. And the eggs were over cooked on my Chilaquiles.
The place is a wonderful addition to Loganville. Mexican food and some with an American twist. Like the Cali fries and Pollo Fundido and the Chapo Burger. We are definitely new regulars! Can't wait to come back and try...

First things first! Vanessa is a server, hostess, drink specialist, personality pioneer and just a beautiful energy. She does discovery to know her customer and once she knows she DELIVERS. She’s funny, smart and hard working!
