What a disappointing experience. I've been passing this place for a couple of weeks since I moved to the neighborhood and had been sooo excited to try. The concept is there but the execution was a fail. Truthfully the service was its biggest detriment. My mother, my two small children, and I had gone in for lunch. The server never smiled nor introduced himself. Only gave us 1 kids menu for my 2 children and no crayons despite them being clearly there. We first asked for waters and ordered the crab dip. He came back with the waters and left no straws even though the kids cups required them. So like the crayons I got up and got our straws myself. We ordered our entrees and waited. As the restaurant filled and people that came after us were already eating I got up once again to ask our server if we were going to get our dip before our entrees...uhhhh was the response I got. We finally got the dip and it was indeed delicious despite it being plopped on the table like an inmates food tray. Entrees showed up a few minutes later. My children ordered pasta with marinara and recieved it with Alfredo. When I told the server his response was, "oh that's right". We sent it back for the proper sauce and instead the pasta came back in watered down marinara that wouldn't even stick to the noodles. Meanwhile my mother went to eat her so called fish melt and the seafood salad on it was ice cold and the cheese wasn't even melted so we had to send that back as well. Worst part was that the server was never apologetic but rather had a worsening attitude as the meal progressed. When the melt came made properly it was nice and the tacos were mediocre at best. Read moreHad the worst experience ever Friday the 14th on Valentine's Day. My husband decided he wanted this for lunch and I wasn't interested but agreed when I saw they had crab legs. When we order I am informed they don't have any. Me not wanting anything else my husband just ordered something I eat so he's not eating alone. 5 mins later a white older couple comes in and sits right beside us and BOTH order crab legs, we were that close we could here their order. My husband literally goes " what if they bring them crab legs?" We get our food and right after they get theirs and have TWO PLATES FULL OF CRAB LEGS! I am appalled! I called waitress over, we had different waiteresses she says "they must have had the last order before we ran out". 🤦🏾♀️ I literally listened to them order, so she says I'll get manger not having no other excuse. Manger comes out and says a truck just came in. I can get you some to go (for me pay for) or a free dessert. You really think I want dessert after this I have no appetite. It's no way a truck came in, got unloaded, inventoried, unpacked, cleaned and cook in that time. There was ABSOLUTELY no way and I couldn't believe they insulted my intelligence like that. I have never been in a situation like that and it has really took a toll on me. When you do reviews on social media someone is on it deleting everything but no one taking accountability. Read moreWe will never EVER, give O'Shucks our business ever again, after eating there last night, and being told my 8 yr old daughter (who has severe food allergies, and cannot eat ANY food from O'Shucks, because of said allergies) was not allowed to bring in outside food (that is ALLERGY SAFE for her) and that if we came in again with food for her, that we would have to EAT OUTSIDE. My child WILL NOT be made to sit outside and have to be excluded because she has food allergies and cannot consume O'Shucks food. The OWNER was very rude to us, rolling her eyes during our conversation, and she embarrassed and upset my daughter. I am FURIOUS about how we were treated and how awful you made my CHILD feel. We were just trying to eat out together as a family, and give my child a normal outing without having to worry about her having a horrible allergic reaction and ending up in the hospital. And we were treated horribly, and worst of all, THE OWNER was the one who treated us this way!!! You should be ASHAMED, that you treated a child that way.
