At the end of the day, it's just a Dairy Queen, but all the little extras make this a great stop.
It's at a great location. It's a historic building. The employees are all super nice, even when there's a crowd. Every treat they make is top notch (still just Dairy Queen, but about as good as you could expect to get). They also heavily support local kids sports teams, which is great as a village resident.
Really the only con is that there can be a long line sometimes. However, the long line is more indicative of the quality of the Dairy Queen, rather than slow service. There's also not a ton of parking, but it's in downtown Lombard, so that's part of the territory.
