Read more1st visit March 9th, 2018 7:17pm 1st time ever visit We stopped in for cocktails and an appetizer and decided to sit at the bar. The place is nicely lit at and around the 1st bar which was clearly lit, yes there are 2 bars. The crowd appeared to be 30 somethings and up. The place was busy at this hour, but the service was great. We decided to try out the nachos and boy these were probable the best nachos I have had in a long time. You can tell the whole thing was fresh and the cheese was real, and they heat it up in a broiler or torch it cause the chips had burn mark. I would highly recommend the nachos! . 2nd visit March 16th, 2018 737 pm 2nd visit appetizer, drinks and dinner We again sat at the bar since we enjoyed it last time and were lucky enough to get a seat right away. We decided to try the calamari, my father raved about it and my friend thought it was pretty good, but I thought it tasted like any other calamari I have tried. The pieces were small rings and it was not tough with light breading but otherwise no flavor My friend got a burger which I did not try out, but they did enjoy. I decided to try the fish tacos. I was actually disappointed, they looked good and had a fresh look, but they totally failed in flavor both in the fish department and garnish department. I also personally think the shells should have been smaller and maybe warmed up or tossed on a griddle not right out of the package. The vegetables were good, they had flavor The brownie dessert was okay and for the price can't complain. I know we will be back we enjoyed the atmosphere plus there are many other menu items to choose from, maybe fish tacos is just...
Read moreThis was a great experience begun by a gentleman whom I am assuming is the Assistant Manager, arising from his seat to greet me and shake my hand as I entered. I had never been here before, and this gentleman (I can't remember his name, but Denny is stuck in my head) made me feel warm and welcome.
He later came over and said he has a 6th sense after undergoing a bit of a tragedy and could sense there is something special and genuine about my soul. This brought years to my eyes and I gave him a big hug. Many spiritual people have been saying similar things to me lately. God is putting me in places where spiritual people are and we are boring sunshine into each others lives!
My friend ordered a vegetarian meal, because she will not eat meat. There was a mix up in the kitchen and the meal which normally contains chicken was mixed up in the kitchen with another order. As a meat eater, I was still a bit miffed, but not as strongly as my friend, who really gets sick to her stomach by the notion that she had actually eaten meat. (I thought it was delicious, Haha!) The server said she knew she put in the order as "no chicken," apologized, and took the first order back. They prepared a fresh meal minus the chicken and brought it out shortly. My friend ate this one just fine and took the leftovers home with her, so it worked out. I guess they handled it OK. It was superb, but OK.
When it was time to head out, I looked for "Denny," found him, and thanked him for how he made me feel. We shared another hug.
I'll gladly return when I am in the area again. Being a meat eater, I won't have any concerns and will revel in...
