Gia Mia - is great for every occasion! The food is excellent and the service is incredible. (Zucchini fries 10/10, Butter Cake 10000/10, Pizzas 10/10)

I was there with my family a couple weeks ago to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday and our server Taisha made her whole night. My mother in law’s exact words were “this is the best birthday ever” she was so happy with the food and the service. Taisha provided recommendations, she helped us with some modifications (she spoke to the chef for us), she checked in multiple times to see if we needed anything else. You know how the servers ask the whole table how is everyone doing? Well she did that BUT she also went directly around the table and asked each one of us individually if we needed anything else and if we liked our food. We were all amazed because she made the place feel like a fine dining establishment.

This is our first time coming to Gia Mia this location in Yorktown. I thought that it was really nicely done on the inside. They had great outdoor seating.,The food came out quick, hot and it was amazing. The waiter was 5Star bread tattoo sleeve on right arm 5’11”. unfortunately we didn't catch his name. He was so courteous and knowledgeable. I asked if I could combine a couple salad items to make my Cesar salad a whole w for me. He was so accommodating with a smile. Wow w what phenomenal Customer Service!!!! I had a Caesar salad with beets, shrimp and goat cheese no croutons. It was a Caesar salad with add ons lol. My husband had Caesar salad and rigatoni Bolognese-It was quite good. . The one thing I would change is the music. Super loud at 6:20 for dinner crowd. Rhianna blasting Umbrella , Fall Out Boy, and a couple others seem a little loud for dinner crowd in there late 30s to 65.. I think it’s great for Friday night after 7:30. Food was delicious, nice atmosphere inside and outside. I was referred by a friend that talked highly of the food and service. My first visit was for lunch, had the pizza and salad special, it was a great value and so good. Next trip, tried the eggplant parmigiana, it was outstanding, a small plate selection but the serving size was large enough to take some home. Service was great and our server (Tramaine), was so personable, what an absolute delight. She’s a great hire and compliments Gia Mia in every way. Thank you Tramaine, for being so well informed about menu items as well! In addition, Gia Mia’s assistant manager (LaCree), was lovely, professional and attentive. She clearly wanted to make sure our dinner/service were top notch and they were! Oh….nice wine selections too. Love this new addition that’s opened at Yorktown in Lombard.
