Employee #2352 made a mistake with my order then blames her mistake on me... That was uncalled for. I specifically ordered a "#2 Large size Meal with Onion Rings," the young girl asked if the onion rings were in place of fries? I said "Yes." She rang up my order, but she gave me a small cup for my drink. Why would she give me a small cup when I specifically asked for a Large Meal.... That girl told me I asked for the small size which i never did. So she gives me a Large cup then up charges me for it after already ringing up the order as a Small drink with Large Onion Rings. She up Charges me for the Large Drink that she made the mistake in, then she made me pay for her mistake. When I had argued with her about this issue she ended up giving me 2 discounts that she don't explain what those discounts were about? The first was $ -.73, second she told me she's going to give me a senior discount. Where was the senior discount erlier? I'm wearing a hat that says I'm a senior! I started out ordering a #2 Large Size Meal with Onion Rings. You rang it up as $12.20 something. After realizing she gave me the wrong size drink, I brought that to her attention that I said Large size the meal which that includes Large drink, so she gives me the Large cup, now she up charges me the meal to $12.90 something. Now she gives me a senior discount. She tells me its a $1.00 off senior discount, but my reciept shows $1.18 off Discount. My total receipt is $11.52 is what I paid for my Large senior discount meal order, put I am still not happy with the service. She is rude and accused me of ordering the wrong size drink, after correcting the order, she makes me pay for her mistakes? And I would've never gotten the senior discount if I'd hadn't argued with her mistakes and rudeness. And especially the discounts she don't...
Read moreIt was late Saturday morning and just got into town. Not many places open so decided to go to White Castle (Lombard, NE corner of Main and Roosevelt.). The White Castle in Villa Park closed down and this was the closest White Castle.
The line was long, almost out to Roosevelt, with probably 8 cars in front of me. Mind you I placed the order online to pick up in the drive through. Not sure what is going on, if they were short staffed with people calling in for their shift or equipment issues but it took close to 40 min to get through the line. Had I not ordered online and already paid, I would have gone elsewhere or just went home.
The food is what you’d expect, freshly made burgers with jalapeño cheese, fries, onion rings and 2 cokes. I ordered the 10 pack of sliders that comes with 2 sides and 2 drinks. Online you’re unable to select “ice tea” so I selected cokes. When I got to the front of the line I asked them to switch to ice tea but unfortunately that didn’t happen.
You can see I rated “5 Stars” for Food. This place always has fresh sliders whenever I’ve gone. That evening, late night it just appeared to be a struggle getting the line to move. I’m hoping the wait won’t be that long again but I will not be ordering online so as not to be stuck. I’ve been inside the location once, a long time ago. No issues with cleanliness nor did I ever feel unsafe while waiting in line.
I will go back, only because we all know how good and simple the sliders are. I’m hopeful the long wait was only a blip that happen to occur...

The reason for 3 stars was the manager. I didn't know there was problem with another customer until the manager got loud! Ridiculously loud! The customers order was incorrect (she did remain calm). The manager made everything worse every chance she could. We thought the manager was going to come over the counter after her. We picked up and left! Crazy and uncalled for! She should have LISTENED to the customer before yelling. The customer was taking part of the blame herself... easy... say "Bring it back and I'll fix it. " (customer is always right.. right?) After the woman said she ate it.... it was over... tell her "thank you for letting me know. Next time I'm asking if someone wants "everything" I'll be more specific to what "everything" is."
