Worst Wendy’s experience of my life. After seeing the drive thru wrapped around the building, I walked into the store, expecting a normal fast food restaurant experience. The line was not long, but I waited ten minutes to be able to order due to the glaring incompetencies of the cashier to take the orders of the person in front of me. After bungling the order before mine, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. I waited an additional twenty minutes before receiving my food, during which time at least five other customers had to return their food due to incorrect orders. The staff scrambled around, yelling at one another. Some members of the staff had long hair and no hair net, or were handling food without gloves. My confidence in my order dimmed considerably. After discovering that my order had been given away, I was finally given my simple chicken sandwich. Everyone knows that you don’t go to Wendy’s for quality food, you go for food that is quick, cheap, and easy. That said, I was not surprised at the overall rubbery taste of my chicken. Also, since Wendy’s already wasted 30+ minutes of my life (in addition to the time I’m putting into this review), I would like to take another minute to thoroughly criticize the Wendy’s decor. The beige, pink, and yellow color scheme reminded me of being forced through an elderly man’s failing intestines. The TV sets high on the walls were smaller than a smartphone screen. With TV sets that small, it makes no sense to have them at all. No one could see the screens. And the posters and signs for the food mocked all of us waiting for our food. We all knew that our food would not be high in quality with aesthetic appeal. “Fresh, never frozen beef”? I challenge...
Read moreI had to run an errand during my lunch break and only had an hour to eat and complete the errand. I stopped for a single cheese burger that I could eat on the go. As I pulled away from the drive-thru window and sat at a traffic light, I unwrapped the sandwich only to find that it was literally smothered in mayonnaise. There was so much mayo that it oozed all over the bun and my hands. I had to put it back in the bag and dispose of it because it was not fit to eat. To make matters worse, there was only one napkin in the bag, which didn't even come close to absorbing the greasy mess on my hands. I hope the employees can be trained to prepare food properly and avoid handing out messy and sloppy to-go orders to people on the run. The one positive thing from this very unsatisfying experience was the service was speedy. Still hungry, going to the snack machine...
Read moreFresh food! The employees were very nice and helpful even though they were severely understaffed. They worked hard to ensure that every customer's order was taken and fulfilled in a very timely manner. The only reason that I didn't give the restaurant 5 stars is because the inside was packed with no one wearing masks. I felt like it should have been limited to the amount of people inside. I understand that not everyone needs to or is even required to wear a mask. The inside was entirely overcrowded and there was standing room only. Our family opted to wait in the drive thru as to limit our exposure to the crowd. Given the staffing issues in this restaurant and the surrounding area, I can't imagine there is enough time or manpower to manage the number or limit the number of patrons inside at...
