I had just joined some friends at Brothers, drank half a beer, went to the bathroom, checked my messages, and when I came back to the table, the Manager approached us and gave a strong lecture about us serving minors. Apparently, a person at the table next to ours had given someone a sip of her drink while I was gone. We had absolutely nothing to do with that. If I were the owner or General Manager of the business, I would want to know about this situation, so I asked the manager what her name was and she walked away. She was talking to some waiters next to the bar, so I simply went to ask what her name was. She told me her name was Gabriella and I turned around to go back to my table. It was that calm and simple and could have been the end of it. Instead, the Manager chased me down and once again accused me of serving liquor to minors. She further threatened that she has video tapes and she would call the police and they would charge me. I told her that I wasn't responsible for what another patron does in their establishment and reiterated the fact that I had just returned to my table when she approached us. I said if they were to charge me, then they should have to charge every single person in the bar who are also oblivious to what she is talking about. I went back to my table and the waiter came up, closed out everyone's tab and said the manager asked us to leave. The waiter repeatedly apologized for his manager's behavior as he was gathering our money. I asked the waiter what the manager's name was and he said her name was Casey. Since she had just told me her name was Gabriela, I went up to the bar and the bartender confirmed the managers name was Casey. I return to the table to get my coat, when manager approached again and said the police and her general manager were on there way and she had given them my name. I said I would be happy to let them know what had transpired. The police did arrive and asked me what had happened. After hearing all the details, the police said I could go. I am still in disbelief by the way I was treated at Brothers Bar and Grill. There are far too many establishments to chose from and I venture to bet, none of them will treat a guest like they...
Read moreDisappointing experience. My mother in law is visiting and we wanted to take her out to dinner somewhere casual, but where she could see a good sunset over the mountains. We chose this place given it's great location and patios.
When we got there we were told both patios were closed, which was a bummer. We decided to eat there anyway. The noise level was really high as well, making it harder for the waiter and us to hear each other, but that comes with the territory of it being a sports bar.
The real downer came when we ordered our entrées. My wife wanted the impossible burger, which was unavailable. I wanted the roasted cauliflower tacos, which were also not being served that night because "it was 2 dollars burger night and there's no space on the grill for anything else." That was strange because with the patios being closed, and the main dining area being at around 70% capacity it looked like they should have the ability to serve a full menu.
I asked the server what he recommended for a vegetarian option, he suggested the chop chop salad, which I ordered. My wife got a cheese burger and my MIL the French Dip. The salad is not vegetarian, it comes covered in bacon crumbles and besides that it's just chopped lettuce with little flavor, there are a couple tomato pieces scattered around but not enough to make a difference. My wife's burger came in incredibly fast, like McDonalds would have thought it fast. She said the patty was dry and had little flavor. That leads me to believe that they were expecting more demand for those dishes, prepared some patties beforehand, and then just reheated them when ordered. The mother in law said her sandwich was very good, and so were the cheese curds we got as...
Read moreThe location is beautiful, the food & drinks are good, our server was amazing, BUT- the host ruined it all!!!! From the moment we walked in, The server was awful. She ignored us, once she said hello she told us we would wait 10 minutes to be seated when only 1/3 of the tables were taken. We asked if we could just be seated to watch the basketball game & wait 10 minutes to be served. She rolled her eyes and was very rude telling us if we had to. We gave the restaurant a chance & decided to to get a table & wait the 10 minutes. After 20 minutes the host walked by & we asked if they were going to even attempt to get us water or anything & she rolled her eyes again & rudely told us that they were trying so we did raise our voice asking for atleast getting some water. A few minutes later a server took our drink order & truly gave us wonderful service. I would highly recommend Aerly our server. She was amazing the entire time!! Then as we walked out the same rude hostess as we thanked her & asked her to tell our server what a wonderful job she did rolled her eyes once again & told us we were kicked out forever & never welcomed back to this location. We will Not be back (not because we are kicked out, as the manager apologized & said we are not) even after speaking to the manager ONLY because multiple people in the restaurant came up to us letting us know the host should not Talk ti anyone like that & they obviously need to coach & teach their staff how customer service works & when you are the host you are the face of the restaurant & you 100% control how people see & view your establishment. Unfortunately they need a new host & need to treat...
