Egg Roll King — Restaurant in Centennial

First of all, they delivered to us on a Saturday night and we were outside of their delivery area. THANK YOU for that! We got the broccoli chicken with steamed rice and the sweet and sour pork with fried rice and 2 egg rolls. The broccoli chicken is the closest we have found to our favorite place in Florida. The sauce is a very mild/light garlic sauce and so good, not sweet or sticky like many places put on. My husband loved it and the steamed rice was cooked perfectly (husband man is Asian and very picky about his rice!) My sweet and sour pork was cooked great, fried just golden with the meat inside still chewable, unlike most places that make it rock hard. The sweet and sour sauce was not super stick, it was a little runnier than most places and not overly sweet with just a touch of tang and some pieces of pineapple. Very good! The egg rolls were fantastic! They are a little bigger than cigar and they use a smooth wrapper (doesn't puff up like some) and it has a nice balance between veggies and meat and an amazing crunch, but still tender. Seriously, the best egg rolls I have had ever. My fried rice, was a very lightly fried rice, not soaked in soy sauce, just white rice with a light fry and flavoring and some egg. This is the fried rice that comes with the meal, so probably more basic than an actual order of fried rice. Everything was fresh and good. Customer service was great. And they delivered it a few minutes before they said they would. Would recommend, beats out every other Chinese we've tried around Broadway/County Line in Littleton.

UPDATE: We have ordered from them 2 more times since my initial review and the food has still been very good and service has been great. We've ordered food for another family member and they also thought it was very good. Still our #1 Chinese spot. In fact, we have an order on it's way as...

I was‘GREETED’ fantastically… I was ‘THANKED’ graciously… I got home, open it up, realized instantly they’d forgotten 2 items (attempted to disguise with quantity) AND, when I’d approached them with asking for ONLY a replacement, the lady working the FRONT was very arrogant and refused my replacement because she couldn’t find the receipt!! BAD.. BAD BUSINESS!$. And, I’m a respected person in the media when it comes to ‘service-oriented’ business! Even after mentioning this, I’d reiterated ‘proper business etiquette’, and the lady still refused to see to reason & was offered no reparations. Oh well!! This is what you get when you dine at the ‘orient-express’ and they’re only here to make money and don’t care about our national accustomed, highly respected ‘customer service’ & ‘hospitality’ in this country and if she’d had any sense whatsoever, common sense would’ve led her to say, “Ok.. we screwed up, let’s make it right and keep a satisfied customer HAPPY and with my influence, I’d have been a great source of positive word of mouth and had left AN AMAZING REVIEW with the same degree of ‘championing’ their business, as opposed to the the degree of polar opposition in which I’m doing NOW!! I’m done with dining at Chinese restaurants here! And after having digging further into local research, I found out they DO USE MSG!! 😡 It really can’t get any worse than...

Our extended family had out of town company and at the last minute couldn't meet at the home we were planning on so ended up here at the suggestion of a family member.

I was so impressed with everything. It's a small place and we descended on them with a dozen people and they were so kind and helpful. The food came quickly and was delicious. We have everyone from beef eaters to vegetarians and everyone was happy. My husband was unsure what to order and the person taking the order was friendly and patient, she didn't seem at all annoyed. She even noticed that one of my kids was away from the table when she was going to take a family photo for us.

I usually feel gross and spacey after eating Chinese food but was able to get brown rice and vegetables to go with the chicken and felt great afterwards. But they still had all the standards that we expect from a Chinese food restaurant. Everything was prepared just right. The meat was surprisingly tender, juicy, and flavorful. (I've come to expect tough meat with gristle but everything tasted great!)

I probably won't be back because I live on the other side of town but wanted to give credit for a great experience I wasn't...
