Food court dining is generally an unpleasant experience for me. The environment is most often chaotic, and the vendors are usually fast food franchises staffed by minimum wage school kids, offering sub par meals at high prices. Yet, on my first visit to the Park Meadows Mall, in Highlands Ranch, I found myself in front of MAD Greens, which I had not experienced before. In comparison to the other vendors, these guys appeared to offer the healthiest menu. So my wife and I placed our order, and as we watched the employee make her salad, we saw that he added bacon and cheese, which are two food items that my wife is trying to avoid. She was no justt aware these items were included in her salad and when I suggested that she change her order, she declined to do so.
I interrupted the employee, whose name I later found is Chris, and asked if he could remove the bacon and the cheese from the salad because we were not aware that it was part of the meal. Without blinking an eye, Chris replied "No, I cannot remove the items, let me instead make a new one for you," and he proceeded to make a fresh salad making the adjustments desired by my wife.
As I thanked him again for being so accommodating, he replied, it's no trouble, and that he was happy to serve us. I then reached in my pocket and counted out a sizeable tip and offered it to him. He said, absolutely not, it is my pleasure and you do not have to tip me for it. I tried several times to get him to take the money and he would not do it. He was joined by his co-worker Erica (who had assisted by preparing my meal), in making sure that my wife and I were satisfied with our order, and to them that is all that matters.
Well MAD Greens, I want to thank you for hiring 2 outstanding employee's at your Park Meadows location. They are clearly well trained, and committed to providing the kind of customer service that will keep us coming back. Thank you, and if you work at MAD Greens and are reading this review please forward it to a senior executive, to make sure that Chris and Erica receive the recognition they deserve. Oh...and the food is...
Read moreI was hoping to leave a more positive review however, there is bland food & rude employees that need to be brought to the attention of the owners of this restaurant. I am not sure who are the gentleman is or what goes on in his daily life to make him so upset & miserable. But there is a shorter gentleman with a bigger, thicker beard that has helped both my wife & I repeatedly. With Each time being a more rude experience than the last. I understand that working in Park Meadows can be a bit of a faster paced environment that may not leave frontline food service employees in the best of mindsets, but this employee doesn’t seem to understand the rude in his attitude & tone when addressing customers.
For this reason & the fact any food he’s put together for my partner & I has always come out bland or even cold at times. I will not be coming back to this location. Thank you for casting a strong negative shadow over what should be a positive...
Read moreI had to go vegan because of heart issues and as a guy who spent his whole life eating meat, it’s been a challenge to find food that has big and bold flavor. I really don’t like several vegetables so it’s a bit of a struggle for me. While browsing the food court in the Park Meadows Mall, I came across Mad Greens and they had several things that looked pretty good. I got the Buddha Bowl and wow! It was freaking awesome! I talked with Kelci about my heart issues and he shared his as well. Amazing and personal customer service and outstanding food. I will 100% be eating here as much as possible. I now have another great food...
