We were making a trip out to Mrs. Fields to get a cookie cake for a birthday party. Mrs. fields is one hour away from our house, but we typically had good experiences so we figured it would be worth it. We did not realize in store, but they gave us an uncooked cookie cake. My mom had a few bites of the cake and got ill which is when we realized the cake was way too soft to be cooked. It practically fell apart at the touch. We decided we would call the store the next day(today) and try to get it resolved with a refund as nobody in our household has time to make the hour trip out there again until this weekend. We spoke to the manager, Jessica, and she was incredibly rude. Kept telling us she canât give us a refund without proof (we sent pictures of the cake but she wanted us to come in with the cake today or tomorrow). Overall, she was an extremely dismissive, disrespectful employee. When we asked for a number for corporate to speak to a higher up who could help us, she responded to âgoogle it.â We will never be going back to Mrs. Fields and we will be telling anybody who expresses interest in this company about our experience.    Read moreWe placed an order online for a birthday cake. Order was confirmed, then when we arrived to pick up our order at the designated time, we got an email that it had been refunded. The email for the refund came through at 12:53 PM when our pickup time was set for 12:50 PM. We drove an hour to get there. The refund we got was for $70.40 when the total amount we spent was $83.49. Spoke with the general manager who was combative and rude, explaining that they werenât at fault because we used a third party app to order (which is the âorder nowâ button on Google for their store). I asked if there was anything they could do because of this major inconvenience. Again, she said it wasnât their fault. I pointed out that they work with DoorDash so this is still part of their service. She said they are trying to get it shut down. She said âweâre busy and weâre trying to accommodate you by taking an order nowâ but the earliest it would be available is 4:30 pm (3.5 hours after the pickup time). Then she told me to contact DoorDash since the refund wasnât for the full amount, but the only contact info on the order is the Mrs. Fieldâs store phone number. He picked up a bag to put the cookies in....He put his entire naked hand into the bag and pushed open the sides and moved his hand all around the inside of the bag to open it up. I was appalled!!!! I said Sir, excuse me, I am not trying to be funny but you put your entire bare hand in my bag and moved it all around the bag and now you are going to put my cookies in it???? He became upset and angrily threw the bag in the trash. He put a glove on his hand (which he already knew to do) and opened a new bag. (Mind you....he was going to pick up the cookies I was purchasing with that same bare hand.) He put the cookies in the bag. He was "thirty eight hot with me". He was steaming with anger.
