A must read for my fellow vegans and vegetarians! My mom, sister and I tried to eat here a few months ago. Unfortunately, we had to try somewhere else after the waiter confirmed there was nothing vegan on the menu. Regardless of this disappointing outcome, I wanted to write a review to caution any vegetarian or vegan trying to eat at this restaurant. The waiter came back from the kitchen after I asked if anything was or could be made vegan, he told me “no, because everything had chicken stock in it…” I told him that if that is truly the case, then no items on the menu should be labeled “vegetarian”. He just shrugged and said he didn’t know. I am hoping this was just a mix-up since the place has recently opened…but if not, then that is definitely not okay. I tried to reiterate that point with him before we left, but he continued to shrug me off. This is very deceiving and could cause someone lots of stomach issues if they are a strict vegetarian. I lived in China for over 4 years. This is such a great addition to Long Beach which has been greatly missing more authentic Chinese food.

The staff were all really great here and provided good service. The interior is basic, but clean.

For food we tried the popcorn shrimp, popcorn chicken, scallion pancake, short rib noodles, chicken soup dumplings, chicken and shrimp soup dumplings, oxtail noodle soup, and broccoli.

For four people we finished it all, and maybe we ate a little too much, but it was so good.

This is the only spot for soup dumplings in Long Beach and its such a great addition to the city's food scene.

The noodles and dumpling wrappers are all made fresh in the restaurant.

The food in order of most to least favorite:

The soup dumplings were amazing.

The noodle soup was also excellent.

The fried short rib noodles were great.

The popcorn shrimp and chicken were very good.

The scallion pancake was good, but I probably wouldn't order that one again.

Overall its great and I would definitely come back.

My husband & I found this spot on our vacation this evening. We were the only ones there as it was an odd time - late lunch. We really only planned to get a few appetizers. Immediately we were greeted by homegirl from the bronx NY. she’s in admin & normally in the back - maybe even the owner. She was INCREDIBLE. We should’ve asked her name. My husband wore a NY Yankees hat & we all immediately bonded! She made sure we felt comfortable & was too funny! We absolutely loved her! Our server was Maria S. She was amazing!! After being seated & ordering the soup & crispy dumplings, they ended up bringing us multiple dishes to try on the house! They had a new dish that wasn’t even on the menu yet, along with a side of rice, & some broccoli beef. All & everything we ate was TOP NOTCH. Delicious!!
