Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Long Beach

I'm like a food critic without the license, and I came from Alaska/Bakersfield, so I came to this place after doing my 12 hour Uber Ride, lol. I've never heard of this place but heard a lot about it, I was also recommended to eat here and I haven't eaten yet all day today, lol. I have massive high-quality taste buds for food and more on the menu to try out soon, Lord Willing. I randomly selected the Santa Barbara Charburger with a side of Tempura Green Beans on the side . Overall, wonderful clean place, and the customer service in the front. Forgive me for forgetting your name, but you know who you are, and you looked like the manager or supervisor. He was very well mannered and helpful throughout my time checking everything on the menu and he shown a lot of patience on allowing me to take my time to figure out what I wanted to order on the menu and helped me a lot on my order selections and I came a driving doing my Uber rides all the way from Bakersfield so I'm new here, I was there at about 5PM ish, everything tasted fresh and was very fulfilling with massive portions of the items I ordered that was nice and Hot and super tasty and flavorful and really nice light crunch testure, and great price overall. Thanking the people who helped me with my First Time Experience here. They also have condiments to get or ask for inside. I highly recommend them for when you're hungry or if you're in a hurry on your lunch break from work or family gatherings. Visited this site for the first time. Had never eaten at any of these restaurants so I didn’t know what to expect. 1st, the guy taking our order spoke VERY LOUDLY over the drive-thru speaker, repeated our order, when I corrected him (no ice in my drink), he acknowledged it, however once I got to the window, lo and behold, there was ice in my drink. 2nd the wait was long and I was asked by the restaurant’s Manager, Elli (female) to go “park in the handicap” parking space, when I informed her I didn’t have a permit to park there, she replied “ it’s ok it will only be a few minutes”. I stated “that is inappropriate” and parked in the stall next to it. Waited at least another 5 min for her to bring us our food. 3rd Once arrived home, my sandwich tasted as if the chicken was undercooked.

So much for quality food (supposedly what they pride themselves in) and quality service.

This place wants you to illegally park in a disabled parking space for THEIR convenience when clearly there are 15 min parking stalls around the corner exactly for this purpose.

This location is a really good one for dining inside, as there are outside dining options available under a lit patio. 🫶 The lighting inside the restaurant is a little dim like you are eating at a steakhouse, nice touch. The customer service is struggling, as the server seemed a bit unenthusiastic to take food orders. The lack of service flowed into my order as I was served the strawberry vinegarette instead of ranch for my cob salad, and was missing ranch entirely for my BBQ chicken salad. The soda station was sticky and had not been cleaned for a while, and the condiments station needed some attention as well. I was able to forage some wax peppers, and purchase a half full side of ranch for 50 cents. What's the point of making me pay for a half full, already smaller portion of ranch?
