On June 29th between the time of 8:30 & 8:50pm my IPhone 8+ was stolen by the employees. There was hardly anyone at the McDonalds when me and my friends went to order. Not even 5 minutes after I left did I realize I left my Phone at McDonald's, I used my friends phone to call them. A Girl answered and told me to give her a minute she was going to go and check for my phone as soon as she came back she hanged up the phone on me, I called back they picked up the phone and hanged up again. When we got there inside two witnesses (the janitor & a customer) said that they found my iPhone and it was taken to the people who work in the back (the cashiers & the drive thru workers) When I confronted them about the issue they told the girl in the back that I was there and that I came to get the iPhone. She stayed hidden in the back and said she did not want to come out, One of the girls then approached her and said " girl get up here" she still didn't budge. That's when I knew she was suspect. About 4 of the employees then went to the drive thru window and huddled up back there talking for a good minute. One of the employees walked towards me and said "She said she didn't see your IPhone" ... okay if she didn't see it why can't she come and tell me that herself why is she acting so scared. 4 of the employees then started talking to me about the Phone situation putting on a front as if they really cared. The girl was standing behind them listening to the conversation and cut them off by saying "so what do you girls plan on doing tonight" ... REALLY SUSPECT NOW... cause if they are discussing my phone situation with me why are you constantly trying to change the subject... because you have my phone that's why. But we didn't just stop there when we got home My mother, My cousins and my friends constantly called this McDonald's to press a issue about the theft that went on Inside this business, we told them if they didn't give my phone up by the next day at 12pm we were going to take it to 1. THE POLICE & 2. THE CORPORATE... When my mother was on the phone speaking to the girl you can tell that she was scared because she started stuttering and stumbling over her words. SUSPECT!! NO ONE WAS WILLING TO ADMIT THE TRUTH! We called multiple times between the hours of 1-4 they then started picking up and hanging up on us. SUSPECT. One guy picked up and said "CALL AT 7:30 in the morning" and hung up in our face. The next morning June 30th 8am we spoke to the manager on the phone and he said he would look at the surveillance footage with the supervisor and see if they see anything they told me I was not allowed to see the video footage with them SUSPECT but they would send me a video of it ...?? If I can't see it with you then why send a video?? Later that morning they sent a small piece of the video of me just to ask if that was me in the video after we said that it was me the manager then goes on to say they have no evidence of anyone picking up my phone and he has to talk to the janitor to see if he really actually found the phone or not and left it at that and hung up. THIS IS A COVER UP! They know who stole my phone and they don't want to come forward about it! My phone cost $800 according to the law if you steal anything over $500 that's jail time. THIS IS NOT THE LAST TIME THEY WILL BE HEARING FROM ME!!! IF THEY DONT HAND OVER MY PHONE WE SHUTTING THE WHOLE MCDONALD'S ON ANAHEIM AND LONG BEACH DOWN!!! STOP COVERING UP FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES AND DO YOUR JOB!!! BE A MANAGER NOT A LIAR!!! HOW DO YOU STEAL FROM YOUR OWN CUSTOMERS??? SO SAD. Terrible Business...

The manager is an "accessory after the fact" to theft, I am convinced of that. He is incompetent and incapable of managing a sector of such an iconic franchise as McDonald's. He lacks in customer service skills and is a liar. This particular McDonald's needs an entirely new staff, because one of the female employees stole my cousin's IPhone and everyone is covering for her.
My cousin called and asked when could she come in to review the video of her coming inside the McDonald's the night before. The manager actually said to her that she could not review the video with him, but he could send her a text message of the video.... ?????????
If she cannot watch the security camera video with you, why are you sending it to her via text message?? Either she can watch it or not ... Besides, if you or your staff members didn't steal the phone, you have nothing to hide ... He sent a portion of the video that HE WANTED her to see, and not the entire video... And of course, as we all expected, his response was yes, we saw you enter into the bathroom... That was never in question... The real question is: Did the janitor turn in the phone to the female cashier behind the counter? ... Of course, he says he didn't see that on the video ... How do we know that is true? Seeing that you only sent a portion of the video you reviewed, and she wasn't allowed to watch the video with you inside the store? The reason why he didn't allow it, is because he saw the employee that stole it ... I am convinced of that. He is covering up for her ... To admit at this point that one of your employees stole a valuable item from one of your customers would be admitting to theft and that you participated in the cover-up... It's really sad, that you will steal from practically a kid, a 19 year old... and that you aren't that insensitive enough to think more about protecting a thief, rather than to return property to its rightful owner ... This is definitely not the end of the matter, it WILL be resolved.

If there was an option for 0 stars, this review would get a -10 (negative ten) ...My cousin used the restroom here and left her phone inside ... When she went back to get it, the janitor said he turned it in to a female employee at the front cashier station ... A Male customer who was sitting inside the restaurant also witnessed the janitor turning in her phone to him too... But when she went to retrieve it, they refused to give it to her! Five of the employees behind the counter huddled up in the corner by the drive-thru window before they even gave her an answer. They came back and said they didnt have her phone ... The janitor insisted that he gave it to one of the female employees... She lied and said she didnt have it ... There is a thief who works here and this person's colleagues are accessories to theft ... The food was horrible too ... The worst McDonalds ever ... A report had to be filed and corporate offices were called the very same night ... Liars, cheats,...
Read moreWhen ever this same elder gentleman is manager there seems to be a mix up and he never owns up and fixes it. I was missing a triple cheeseburger and waiting in the drive thru line to try to get it fixed since the inside was closed. Told them what I was missing and he went to speak to the manager and the manager came back to tell me he said it was in the bag. I handed him the bag to look for himself. He proceeds to point at the mc double and say that's it. I said it's not. That's a double. I'm missing a triple. Because I had a mc double and triple. The manager points at the M on the wrapper and says when it's this it's triple. The wrapper said double on it. I asked him to open it and see the two patties and he refused and walked away. I even opened it myself and showed the employee the two patties and he said that's how they make it. I said, so you're tell me they make a "triple" cheeseburger with two patties? He answered yes. They decided that the only thing I was missing was a mcdouble and game me that and kept my receipt. I even asked for an exchange of fries because of the wait. They put the same ones in a different bag and gave them back. Cold as ever. Consistently one of the worse locations when that manager is on. Other staff there are great. So I still never got what I paid for on top of bad service and cold food. Only reason for the two stars is because there are still other teams...
