The name says Philly's Best it would be Philly's best if they could accurately fix a situation that they messed up on by providing just even decent customer service,, which would be much appreciated by the customers that go to their establishment in Long Beach California. some people like us travel a little bit further to go over to this location and to get the order wrong not once not twice but three times on three separate occasions the third time we finally complained and what they say they say you can drive back here and we'll replace it for free okay replace it for free give me my money back replace a sandwich or free my inconvenience for having to come all the way back over here pretty much another city no that's not what they want to do they wanted to remake the sandwich and that's what they call for free that's not for free for free is replacing the money and which I spent on the sandwich the third sandwich that they messed up on the third time absolutely unacceptable customer service is lacking immensely management wasn't in on Sunday which is okay fine that's okay I will call Monday morning to get this rectified if it's not rectified in a way that is right for us which is replacing the money in which we spent on just the one sandwich we're not asking for the three sandwiches we're asking for just the one sandwich then there's not going to be a change in my writing at all it will stay one stars as long as we don't get this rectified this is absolutely and utterly ridiculous. We ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings and a philly's cheesestake with onions and peppers and an order of fries plus two bottles of soda. I clearly told the employee that I wanted peppers in the cheesestake and on the side. First red flag, we didn't get a receipt. The employees seemed to be confused putting the orders together. It took a very long time to get our order. Second red flag:I noticed that the female employee put my fries in the paper bag way before my cheesestake was ready. By the time that my cheesestake was ready at least 10 minutes had gone by. I couldn't believe that after waiting for so long she still had the odasity to try to give me cold fries. I told her that the fries have been sitting on the counter and that they might be cold. Then she put the cheesestake in the bag and went to make more fries. Third red flag: So now the cheesestake was sitting on the counter while she was making fries and talking to other customers and employees. The onion rings that she gave us were burnt. Four red flag:I asked her at least three times for napkins, but she didn't give me any. I had to ask for the peppers that I asked for from the very beginning when I placed my order. I had to ask her for ketchup because she didn't give me any. I told her that I needed to open my bottle soda so I could drink it, she said that she couldn't do anything about it; no bottle opener, nothing at all. Fifth red flag: Then when I opened my barely warm cheesestake it was missing onions and peppers. That's what I exactly asked for when I placed my order. Read moreDon't go there!! I called ahead at 7:24 to see when close and SAM (if that is even his name) said they take carryout orders said till 8:30 and close at 9pm. I walked in the door at 8:02pm and SAM saidt hey put away the turkey slicer at 8pm. He claimed I was to late to order that. I have Multiple Sclerosis and found this place with food I can digest and keep down. I've been ordering 2 or 3 times a week since discovered it. And we order for whole family as well to the tune of $40-50 bucks. 3 times 50 is 150 a week totalling 500 a month x 12 months =600 a year, that we will spend somewhere now. I hope 3 minutes if could have taken to slice the turkey just cost them 600 a year, so they don't need your money. I called after leaving g to ask for owner name. He said Mark is owner and when I asked his name, he acted like my cell service dropped the call, but he hung up on me. I called back since I live next door and said I'll walk back and get your name if you want to hang up on me. He then said (SAM) and hung up again. Sam has curly hair with blood shot eye, just cost his company big time.
