Piazza on the Pier — Restaurant in Long Branch

I don’t like to write bad reviews…this is only OK place. If u eat there it’s ok, but I don’t see why I’ll go back there.

We order 4 slices + 2 Drinks -Pizza, Taste OK, I ate much better ones. -Size of the Slice - Kids menu. The pie is small & the slices are tiny. -Price - $3.75 to a kids menu slice ….rediclius. -Service - OMG 😱 I came in stood by the counter while the owner spoke to a women (not ordered, just blablablabla), he never told me I need to order & pay first in the cashier …I did it, I paid, went back to him with my receipt & …he kept talking to the lady, like I’m not there. After 3 min. I asked him to serve me….he wasn’t happy I bothered him. Took him 5 min. To put my 4 slices in the oven while he kept talking to the other lady.

Until I got my 4 slices, he never stopped talking to the lady, never thanked me, just gave me the look….why u bother me.

After a long, fun day at the beach with my best friend, we were starving and craving pizza. We searched nearby spots and stumbled across this place. The reviews were mixed, but we decided to give it a shot—and I’m so glad we did!

From the moment we walked in, the customer service was top-tier. Super welcoming and friendly. We both ordered the classic smash burger and a grandma slice, and let me just say—everything was AMAZING!

The burger was juicy, flavorful, and the sauce really took it to the next level. The slice had the perfect crisp and just the right amount of everything. You can tell they care about what they’re serving.

We ordered a margherita pie after a day in the beach. It was 16” for 26$, so not terrible price especially for beach. I ordered a pie because I thought it would taste better since fresh, but the pizza is below average. There’s hardly any flavor and I saw no basil. Also way too greasy. Crust was kinda thick and I would say could be cooked better. I’m being generous giving them a three star since they are busy due to beach traffic, but I would wait longer if it meant a quality pie.

Unfortunately, this is the only pizza place at least I know of on the beach, which means they definitely take advantage of that fact. I would encourage anyone who owns even a decent pizza place to open up here and actually serve quality. Pretty disappointed especially since they hand a lot of...
