First time trying this place. I had the pistachio latte, and the birthday cake donut. Both were amazing, no complaints with the food experience! The donut definitely had a different taste and texture, which was a nice surprise.
However, I had to write because of a "company policy" I guess. We came in toward the end of the business day. There was a small amount of donuts left when my husband and I got there. We watched the donuts disappear as incoming customers came in (as we were waiting for our drinks to be made). Long story short, a couple came in to get donuts, but there was only one left. They tried to buy the last donut, but they WERE NOT allowed to buy it!!! WHAT?!? I guess company policy says donuts are only allowed the be bought in 3s. It was the END of the day. The barista confirmed it was the LAST donut, and they had nothing else to offer that day. I know it's just a donut, but I felt bad for this couple. They were there for the same reason as us...looking for a mid-afternoon sweet tooth fix. I saw the annoyance on their faces. I'm sure you lost potential future customers just fyi. I personally wouldn't come back to an establishment that turned away my business in a manner like that. I just feel it is a bad business policy. Food for thought, maybe give the last donut of the day for free. Maybe if that was your end of day policy, maybe your end of day business would pick up more. Just annoyed for these poor folks. What business turns away business. A nice couple willing to hand you money for your product but turned...
Read moreThe Mochi Doughnuts were amazing and fun, the small circular sectional shape made it easy to share and mix and match. My favorites were the classics: Taro, Black Sesame & Matcha (very good matcha icing nice and strong) The drinks were delicious and the stir fry Boba seemed a cut above the rest. Very nice texture and flavor and seemed fresh. They had a special Chizu topping (sweet cream cheese whip) that I hadn't seen anywhere else and some great selection options overall, they also had some coffee options. The kiosks were nice to order at, but some of the menu options for particular items could have been more intuitive, such as needing to order a Chizu topping for a drink on the menu that already specified that topping, but not too bad, overall pretty easy ordering. Service was prompt and polite, if a little busy. The atmosphere was nice and friendly, slightly cutesy, and had some fun selfie walls. A fair amount of seating but not as much as a restaurant, small round tables and chairs, could comfortably seat 2 or 3 at a table, but they have some window benches as well. Ordering the doughnuts can get a little expensive, especially with more people, but it is well worth it for the quality and unique offerings. Would definitely recommend, as a meeting spot or for a casual sweet treat, but would make a nice informal date location as well, or a fun place to bring colleagues. Will visit again from Loveland (worth a drive...
Read moreMy first time here was extremely disappointing . Saw it from walking by and decided to try it because I love boba. I went in ordered a drink and it was the worst thing I've ever tasted. I told the girl behind the counter that I didint like it at all and politely asked if I could exchange the drink. She said that she wished I would have asked her for a sample before I bought the drink and there was nothing she could do for me. I proceeded to tell her I have never been here before I didint know they offered samples. They just told me to order from the kiosk. Plus any boba place I've ever been to made the drink to order so I assumed it was the same. She told me they have had issues in the past of people asking for exchanges which is normal in a food/ retail establishment when someone doesn't like their food/drink, plus my drink was full. I could not get a refund, could not get an exchange just payed for something I did not like. So I am not happy with the customer service and felt cheated. I will absolutely...
