Highly recommend. Hurry 4 Curry was parked at Fritz Family Brewers in Niwot on Thursday. I had the chicken vindaloo which was excellent. I ordered a level 4 (out of 5) spice, and it was just right. 5 would've definitely been too much for me. Next time I might do a 3 to mellow it out a bit. The flavor was very good, rich, and multi-layered. The portion size was large. I was hungry so I ate it all, but on a normal night I could see eating half and saving the rest as leftovers. I look forward to trying more of the dishes. The food was fast, but not so fast that it felt like it was just sitting there ready in advance. Check it out!
Update: A few weeks after my initial review, I had the chicken jalfrezi with garlic naan. Did a level 4 spice again and it was great. Enjoyed it at Grossen Bart Brewery in Longmont. Paired well with a nice, bitter Chin Curtain IPA. I'll be keeping an eye out for...
Read moreThe Universe sure has a sense of humor! Power outage in the area, so I decided I would try to drive and see what was around. Needed to eat after my massage and work meeting. I looked to the left and saw a food truck. I had no idea what food it was or anything. I just knew that they were powered on their own. So they would be cooking. BRO!!! I’m so glad. I haven’t eaten Indian food like this since I was living and working in Mumbai. The chicken bryiani, the saag paneer, and the dumplings!!! It was like I was eating “home foods” in my kitchen in Mumbai. And the Medium spice was a little too mild for me now. So next visit definitely gonna go hot. Oh. And the Chai!!! Much like many chai wallas I frequented as well!!! Thank you so much for a lovely reminder of my time in Mumbai. Seriously…. So....
Read moreWe had the food truck that was parked at Fritz brewery. We ordered a little of everything. The chicken wings - not bad. Not sure if they come with a sauce option but I’d opt for that. The naan was good (hard to mess up naan). The samosa was very good. Only thing I’d add about the samosa is please don’t serve with that dark sauce (not sure what it’s called) serve it with the green chutney sauce, that’s the best. The chicken tikka or chicken curry masala seemed to be the exact same, we compared the two and didn’t see or taste a difference. But the portion size was good and the chicken chunks were LARGE, didn’t cheap us on the protein. This is a minor thing but I do prefer the sauce and rice separate and not mixed together, just...
