Ordering was hard enough in the fact that I couldn’t understand a word the employee was saying nor did they understand what I was saying. The employee that took my money was very nice, even complimented me which made my day. Then I received my food. I got a medium coffee when I ordered a large and even after asking for a large upon receiving a medium the employee wouldn’t replace it. I ordered 2 sausage egg and cheese McMuffins, I only received 1. I ordered one plate of hotcakes, a hash brown and a chocolate milk. I received 0 syrup, 0 silverware 0 butter or the chocolate milk. I went inside the restaurant to correct these mistakes and was greeted by an employee that I believe was the manager (wearing a different uniform than everyone else) who just snatched the receipt out of my hand and went to the drive through employee and proceeded to speak in Spanish to them. Both employees claimed that all missing items were put in the bag and proceeded to argue with me over whether or not the syrup silverware butter and chocolate milk and 2nd McMuffin were in the bag. I am not a penny pincher, I have worked in fast food, I have respect for people working through this pandemic but, most of all I am not a liar! I would not have gone inside the restaurant if I had silverware or butter or syrup or a chocolate milk or the 2nd McMuffin I ordered and paid for!! so to be so disrespected and to be called a liar, it is just shameful. They were rude and disrespectful and they really really upset me. I hope this was a rare incident but I highly doubt that is the case. It is sad that we can’t just treat each other with common decency and respect especially in a time where our country is already struggling to unite and come...
Read moreI understand that this is a McDonald's and it almost seems trivial to post a review, but this place can barely function. I will go here for breakfast occasionally (just through the drive thru) and every single time it has been a complete clusterf*. Everything from screwing up your entire order when there is literally only 1 other person ahead of you and no one behind you, to employees actually arguing with you about what you got.
I'm not sure what the deal is with sauce for this place. It's like it's their prized possession and they will flat out refuse to give you any and want to argue with you about it. Every time I go there, I will always get one of those $1 breakfast burritos and every time they will not put the sauce in there even though I specifically request it when I'm ordering. This then turns into me picking up my order at the window, checking the bag for sauce, and discovering that in fact, there is no sauce. So I will always ask if I can please have the sauce and almost EVERY single time, someone will argue with me about it whether or not I asked for it. Then I have to show them the receipt to which they will begrudgingly roll their eyes and passive aggressively give it to me like I personally attacked their character or something. Like I honestly don't understand how hard it is to put sauce in the bag. Not sure whether this a communication error on the person taking my order's side or the employees just not giving a crap. But it seriously happens EVERY SINGLE TIME without fail. I don't understand why it is literally like pulling teeth.
So I just drive to the one on Main now, because I get anxiety even thinking about going to this...
Read moreMcDonald's is someplace we go when we want something consistently the same. Unfortunately, we didn't get it this time. We all like the occasional Quarter Pounder with Cheese. Nothing fancy, not a lot of frills, just a medium cooked Cheeseburger. Except that my mother's wasn't medium, it was almost raw, and not just in the very center, but all the way through, almost from edge to edge. When she took it back to the counter to show it to them, I could hear the clerk from across the dining area exclaiming "That is not OK! It should never be like that." She stated they would immediately remake it, and it would be properly done. She told my mom she would bring it to her when it was ready. When she did bring it, it was perfectly medium done. And not only did she bring the burger, she remembered that my mom had asked for extra Ketchup when she ordered, and brought more, plus she brought a fresh piping hot order of fries so that my mom could have fresh, hot fries with her fresh hot burger. She waited while my mom checked the burger to make sure it was perfectly done, and apologized again. And when she went back to the counter, I saw her speak to the manager, so I'm pretty sure it didn't get written off as just a picky customer. In the end, while we didn't get the consistency we expect from McDonald's, we got to see an example of customer service being done right. To me, that was...
