I have been waiting to write this review because I kept hoping things would improve. I want to start off by saying the food and coffee are pretty good. The chocolate covered strawberry latte has quickly become a favorite! But, I have had many service issues as well.
Unfortunately, the first time I came I ordered a half-caf latte because I am very caffeine sensitive. I was give a full caf. But, The latte was delicious, so I tried them again.
Twice now I have been given a price when I ordered and charged a different price once I got up to the window. Once it was double what I expected to pay and we found out it was because they were charging me for someone else's order. The second time I'm not sure what happened, but my total was higher at the window that time as well.
The service is very slow. They only have one person working at a time and they will have you pay first, then start making the order. This isn't too bad if you are the only person in line, albeit slower than any other coffee drive-up in the area, but I waited nearly 20 minutes once and was only the 4th...
Read moreI always love trying a new coffee shop but this one did not impress me. I always get an americano, shots of espresso and water. Yesterday I went and got an iced americano with lavender syrup and half & half. I was told I could only get a 20 oz cold drink. Did I still want it? Sure. I couldn’t be told the total until I pulled up to the window. When I did it was almost $8. I was kind surprised because at most coffee shops it’s $5-$6 for a large americano. But still, maybe it was amazing coffee. When I was handed my drink, all of the syrup was sitting at the bottom. The barista told me it was like that because of the type of drink I ordered, and that the syrup doesn’t easily dissolve into it and that I could stir it with a straw that was provided. If I’m paying $8 for a coffee, the least you can do is stir the syrup into the drink. It...
Read moreI want to give this 5 stars i really do. I love a local business. But I got a regular brew and asked for double cream double sugar. Usually that results in a cup that's not too sweet or too creamy. The barista warned me it was fresh and might be really hot. But what I got was a cup that was so full of cream it was barely warm, and so much sugar syrup it was barely coffee flavored. Then, the cup has a weird lid that poured (thankfully not hot) coffee on me from both the rim and the opening. It's not a good look for a first try. The service was great and the coffee tasted good, from what I could taste...
