Nice selection of beers, ok food and a complete scam when it comes to your bill. Alert, make sure you look over your bill thoroughly as they apparently have a system that carries over billing from previous guests that sat at your table before you during the day and adds in items that they had ordered to you final bill hoping you don't look too closely. They asked for your credit card for payment before they will bring you your bill and run payment, then let you see what they charged you for afterwards. I addressed this and the supposed manager "Bacon" who tried to explain their confusing way they try to bill you. Was told by the waitress Valerie that "you've been here a while" and so your bill is right. Well, we didn't have hard alcohol. burgers and other items on the bill you gave our table. The the manager "Bacon" was working on correcting our bill which was still wrong after nearly 30 minutes of him trying to figure out what belonged on previous billings of the table we sat at. Then he said he hated their system and how confusing it was and that they renewed this for another 2 years. So apparently trying to charge customers for items they never ordered from previous customers that sat at a particular table throughout the day to generate more revenue. Was excited and hopeful of a new place to enjoy locally....but definitely will never return and want to let others know of their very deceptive business practices that they try to justify as how they want to bill you at the end without much effort to make it right and own their faulty billing system. Stay far away or at the very least scrutinize everything they are putting on your bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was at the Woodland location that just...
Read moreThe reason I’m giving three stars is because my fiancé was told “You need to finish your beer because we’re closed” right at 9pm. Granted, last call was maybe 10-15 mins before. He had a whole pint and likes to enjoy the beer, not chug. If they expect people to leave exactly at 9pm, they should do last call 30 mins before. We went out to dinner and drinks to celebrate a promotion. To then be told to get out after they offered a last call close to closing really bothered me. If she had told us, “we close exactly at 9pm and customer must leave the premises at that time,” he wouldn’t have ordered another beer at last call, and we’d be aware. It just isn’t good customer service to do that. I left a great tip. I would’ve left less if I would’ve known we’d be treated like this after paying. The food is great. I truly recommend going to eat there but be aware you may encounter this type of treatment.
Management should talk to their staff about letting people know in advance rather than hurrying your customers or do last call 30 mins before to avoid the staff from treating customers like this and being...
Read moreLet me start by saying the guy who was the bartender when we arrived was awesome. He was kind, helpful, and attentive. The beers are great - I got a pineapple cider that was unlike anything I've ever tasted, in the best way.
The bartender left as it was the end of his shift and was replaced by a woman who then waited on us. She barely showed up, left the bar unattended, and never checked back to see if we needed anything. I felt bad for a guy who had arrived and been sitting at the bar for ~15 min without being acknowledged. There were only 5 customers at Antidote at the time, my husband and I included.
Food was expensive (normal for the area) and not good at all. I ordered a sandwich that was supposed to have burnt ends and grilled onions, yet it arrived with raw onions and barely any meat at all. My husband got their signature roast beef sandwich (think French dip style) and I am not joking when I tell you it came with one tiny slice of meat. Arby's put this sandwich to shame.
Would return for drinks only, and likely only when that original bartender...
