I brought in a ring from my girlfriend's grandmother that I wanted to have cleaned up and changed from Gold to Silver, white gold, or platinum. I had taken the same ring into 2 other jewelers and was told that for $40.00 they could rhodium plate. When I brought the ring to Josh he provided excellent knowledge, service and options for me once which included rhodium plating but also other options as well. The option I chose was for Josh to recreate the ring or band and use the existing stone in the new band he hand created/replicated. Josh rushed the order for me and his service was still on time, at or under the cost he quoted which was very reasonable, he was very informative and friendly and most importantly the ring he recreated turned out better than I could ever expect. The stone in my 45yr old antique rose wedding set came out, I needed to find a jeweler local as my set was bought in Portland. I went to a well known longview jeweler and was quoted $320 just to put the stone back in and fix the broken prong. I thought that was a little steep. I looked further and found Ram Jewelers on 14th. Took my set in and was quoted $175.+ tax for a new head which holds the stone that fell out, repairs on the prongs on the 3 other stones. Cleaning (I hadn't had the rings off in nearly 20yrs) and having it reantiqued. It turned out beautiful and looks brand new. Wonderful people to deal with. After hours of research on jewelers, I decided to take the ring that my grandma left me to Ram Jewelers. I was super nervous about leaving it with anyone to get it repaired. Josh instantly put me at ease, showed me a way to identify my specific diamond, so I would always know it was mine I was getting back if I had to leave it with a jeweler. He showed me some repairs that needed to be done on that ring and also on my wedding set. He did AMAZING work and my rings look great!! I will never take my jewelry anywhere else.
