Edit Changing my review of Keebler because wow did Matt and his staff make it right. They responded to my review and made huge efforts to make me feel heard. Very impressed with the response.
I guess time will tell if they can get the right staff but Matt had a great one at the counter this morning. I wish I had gotten her name but she apologized for the poor experience and did her best to see that I was taken care of.
Thanks Matt and Keebler team for bringing the charm and fixing mistakes. I'll be back soon!
Super disappointed this morning in the avocado toast. Brown, like it was leftover from the night before or left out in the air for too long.
I asked if it could be remade and the barista said that the avocados were thawing because they were frozen? Avocados shouldn't need to be frozen.
Usually Keebler is amazing and I love their coffee and food. Mistakes happen, but it sucked that it kinda ruined my breakfast...
Service before this was also poor. No hello, no knowledge on the Pour over options, and pretty cold overall. No apology for the poor quality of the food after I asked for a refund.
Refunded and I'm not sure if I'll be back. Very...
Read moreA local gem! This location used to be the Roxy theater before my time but it was turned into a place called Hearth Coffee that didn't make it through the pandemic and now it is Keebler. The old Roxy Theater is still back there and the entire coffee shop is in the old box office/lobby space. The theater is still used for events, and I hope that it doesn't get forgotten, it's a wonderful space.
Mr. Keebler is a very nice guy and a good steward of the space and he roasts a good bean. Find him at the farmer's market and you can use your tokens on coffee! He seems very committed to third wave coffee principles of fresh roasts, proper storage, and roasting according to the coffee Bean's terroir. Try the Bitta Keffa and the Colombian honey process they're both costly but phenomenal.
I like that they offer pour over v60 but I believe the best expression of their roasts is one you pour yourself, that's why I enjoy that they have very fresh roasted beans available whenever they are open.
Their Stella espresso blend is pretty good and offers a bright, sweet rounded profile for your milk drinks. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I hope this...

Seriously, though. This is the best spot you can go to for friendly staff and quality espresso-based beverages. The beans are purchased and roasted by the owners. And while I am a proponent of the PNW second-pop (SBUX isn't burnt to me), I can appreciate the nuances the Keebler Roast Kurve (KRK™) offers.
Additionally, their partnership with local bakeries services forth wonderous delights to pair with your beverage. And the spacious seating - which I would accuse of being a little cold and austere - always has an available spot for a rump or two. (Although the open floor plan din can be overwhelming.)
P.S. I've been playing too much MK, as you can probably tell with...
