Went their 12/31 and asked for nachos and a drink. I said only chips, cheese and jalapenos, this came out to 10.26 .. my drink was 3 something and the nachos was suppose to be 2.99. I pay thinking maybe their price went up and hasn't changed outside. I drive away my daughter opens the food and they only put chips and shredded cheese and jalapenos. I flip around go back and say am sorry maybe i said it wrong but I wanted nachos w chips and cheese and jalapenos. She said you said no meat yes no meat just wanted nachos, she said w the nacho cheese umm yes w nacho cheese. I waited for her to fix my food, she hands it to me I drive away. My daughter opened it again and no cheese and found a small cheese container on the side, I call and asked why isn't the cheese in the chips and why is it so small, her reply was we got along of complaint about soggy chips. I said ok why did it come out to so much and then she hung up on me.. I told my daughter am all about small business and family owed but no more at this place. My daughter laughed and said well at least you got to have a Karen moment. This women who worked their are rude and unprofessional, I even took the blame when I told her maybe I said it wrong when I know I didn't. Nachos are nachos and chips and cheese and jalapenos are the same at anyplace no matter the language. I won't be returning and I told my daughter that I got ripped off when my order was only 7 dollars and not 10.
Update: to your reply I did tell her I was unhappy on the phone, it stated in my review she hung up on me on the phone. Clearly you don't care about your customers and making it right. So I will not be returning to your...
Read moreVictorico’s is good, but it’s fundamentally “chain restaurant Mexican food” which is itself a genre in itself, as opposed to like, some of the many family owned Mexican restaurants in town for example. There are quite a few Victorico’s out here, this is a review of the Longview location.
It used to be a Muchas Gracias, and a lot has changed with the new ownership. The meat is tastier and better marinated, the produce is a lot fresher, there is a major improvement in food quality versus the old muchas gracias it once was, plus they have a new point of sale system that gets everyone through the line quicker.
This is all well & good but with the renovations have come a corresponding increase in prices to the point where Victorico’s is on par with the newly opened Chipotle in town but of course much more authentic than that megacorporate stuff, and therefore maintains its value proposition relative to the Chipotle.
However, this is not the best value for Mexican food in town. You’ll get a good meal, unless you order something nobody else ever orders (a la the Filet O Fish situation at a McDonald’s). Just know it’s chain Mexican food, enjoy it, and get on...
Read moreThis restaurant has really gone downhill since the muchas gracias days. They are very prone to messing up orders and are very reluctant to make it right. Been coming here for years and while the food is pretty good the service really has gone downhill. Had them give me the wrong food and then when I got home to Castle Rock they wanted me to drive all the way back that night to get it replaced. I asked if they could just put my name in the book and they told me only if I had the receipt which they did not bother to give to me and to be quite honest rarely give receipts unless you ask for them. After arguing with them significantly they put my name in the book and then of course when I get there they want to argue with me about what's in the book. As I sit here and write this in the drive-thru they gave the person in front of me the wrong food who handed it back. The owner doesn't want to take accountability for mistakes but also doesn't want to hold his employees accountable for those mistakes. I'm almost to the point of finding a new Mexican restaurant because well I have loved muchas gracias for years I am much less of a fan...
