To start off it took forever for us to get our food my boyfriend went to the bathroom and came back and it still had not taken our order once they take or took our order the food was brought to our table separately because they did not have they did not have chili which was listed as on your menu there was nothing stating that they were out of the chili but they offer lobster bisque seriously at a diner then once they brought my food out it came in two bowls on her plate which were very cold three pieces of sausage which look like somebody pinched off the end of one of them to see if they were done two eggs that were one were so broken and fried hard it was tainted on one side the toast was so cold it was like rubber and then I expressed that I did not want the food because it was too cold so the waitress who came out and took the food took the plate back to the kitchen the open kitchen which everyone could see she emptied my bowl of grits into a pot added a half a cup of water and begin to stir never heated up the sausage or the eggs or the toast what she left on my table she brought me two eggs which looks like they cooked in water and never flipped them at all and then said that they were over easy therefore my boyfriend sandwich was so there's just way too much to say they should actually close their business maybe get another manager and start from scratch maybe they should start teaching five people how to make an over easy egg or any eggs at all and then maybe you should take grits off your menu totally because there is a a class to doing it there is a Perfection to doing it and if you have never done it before and if you're not old school you will never get it it was disgusting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI understand that this is their first year ever being open for business and that the establishment is still fresh and new but i shouldn't have to come in and wait almost 30 minutes for my food when the place isn't packed and you got 3 kitchen staff members sitting around not doing anything but conversating and on their phones. Whats more disappointing is the manager or owner not putting their foot down and correcting the problem, there was little to no communication with the server and cooks and the server only been there 3 days apparently and she was doing the best she could, better than some of the other staff who work there. The biggest disappointment was that my girlfriend didn't get her food and the food was average at most. If this place wants to stay in business they need to get their priorities straight and be more focused on doing their job. Better yet develop and deliver a better menu selection with food that's actually appetite grabbing. Most importantly don't neglect your customers, they 3are your true breadwinners of your business. Omelets were very good I will say, but half the size of what youād expect from a breakfast place. Literally half of a pan folded omelet. The plates, cups and silverware were either plastic or styrofoam which is a huge turn off. The window sill next to our seat had a number of dead bugs. Once we ate I asked if the manager was around just out of curiosity and I was informed the neither the manager or the head chef were there. It was their first Saturday morning since the grand opening and found that to be odd. If this place is gonna make it they need to step up. Lorain is a tough place to start up. A good first...
