Antojitos Mexicanos El Paisa — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I found this cute establishment after a hike at Lower Arroyo Seco in Wednesday morning with my friend Olivia. You have the option of eating inside or outside. Only drawback is that it’s a small restaurant so not ideal for big groups.

We were so glad we decided to turn down all the other food options available in this neighborhood because Miriam, the only employee working here on this day was amazing. She made us an asada sope, a chorizo burrito & agua frescas!!! If you are ever in the mood for a handmade sope, this is the place to go for it. Everything tastes so fresh & delicious especially the refreshing Agua Frescas: We ordered Sandía & Guava flavors and they were off the hook. Another highlight of this establishment is the very reasonable prices. Super affordable!!!

First time today me and my hubby ate here. Let me say that it is very delicious! It has a home taste. Green salsa reminds me of my mom's, the Asada is nicely grilled/cooked and tastes delicious. We had an Asada Burrito and a cheesequesadilla. I was surprised in a good way that it was tortilla a mano! So fuxking good! Beans & Rice, are delicious. That hit the spot! I love Antojitios and been coming here since before I could walk. I grew up in Highland Park and I'm so happy this is one of the last few gems that exist before the neighborhood changed. Parking sucks on Saturdays because of the lame flee market next to the parking lot but I usually avoid parking by Figueroa since I enjoy walking.
