The atmosphere is very nice. The smell when you walk in is immaculate. Fresh bread, quality meat - very small nyc deli vibes. Had such an amazing selection of snacks and drinks imported from all over the world! But that was the only thing good about the experience The owner/worker who made out was so rude. While looking at the menus he impatiently waited to take our order, and halfhearted answering our questions. Then proceeded to make our sandwiches and when we asked for an addition to our sandwich on the tail end of him making it he insisted he could not add to the sandwich since he was already close to done. It was distasteful because watching him, he could clearly add to it. Later come to find my BLT was dry, missing sauce that i specifically ordered it for. When I returned to the store with my sandwich to ask if something could be done he insisted I shouldnât have eaten it and that he made it correctly. I proceeded to tell them how the service was ridiculous. Although the aesthetic is top tier I wouldnât bother wasting my money on the food or the service. Better off going to...
Read moreWent today & the girl at the register was great! She was super friendly! Now, the guy making the sandwiches, that's another story! Had a scowl on his face, barely spoke to us & when he did he mumbled. I was speaking to him & he stared at me like I was bothering him. As we were looking over the menu he just stared at us like he was annoyed we didn't know what we wanted. We've never been before. One thing my family & I will do is spend money on food but I won't spend my money when i'm treated like a bother so the chances of us returning is slim to none. $150 on sandwiches, snacks and drinks to be treated like we were a bother is crazy!. Now on to the sandwich itself, mine was good. My son's was dry because he didn't put the mustard or mayo on it and the bread was hard & rubbery from being toasted. The grilled cheese was on sour dough bread but there was more bread...
Read moreI stopped in today with my roommate. It was their âsoft openingâ today and the store is really cool. Itâs for a nice selection of drinks and chips, some of which are labeled âexoticâ and imported from around the world (I saw stuff that was Mexican, Korean and Japanese on the shelves). My roommate and I each ordered a sandwich and they told us we were the very first sandwich costumers ever (so that will be a fun memory of the place for us). I got the Tuna Melt and my roommate got the Roasted Turkey. The sandwiches were excellent. The staff was very talkative and extremely friendly. We will definitely be stopping in many more times. I really hop the place finds itâs niche in the neighborhood. Itâs an awesome addition to the NoHo...
