First of all, I'll concede that the food is pretty good and decently authentic, although the menu is limited.
The big problem is their rice and vermicelli dishes. Their respective categories are labeled as "Cơm thịt nướng - Rice" and "Bún thịt nướng- Vermicelli." Now for those who don't know Vietnamese, "Cơm" means rice and "Bún" refers to the vermicelli noodles. The second half of each title, "thịt nướng," means "grilled meat," specifically pork if the meat isn't specified (and it never refers to shrimp), and grilled in a specific way. Under these two categories, they each have a combo with "pork sausage," "lemongrass chicken," "shrimp" and "combo." Notably, NONE OF THESE DISHES are or contain anything resembling thịt nướng.
It's like having a category called "Hamburgers" and serving a pulled pork sandwich, a brisket sandwich, and a fried chicken sandwich, but no actual burger
So yeah, if you go in knowing this, then the food is... fine. If you go in wanting Thịt Nướng because it's, you know, ON THE MENU, you're gonna be disappointed, and frankly such a big and obvious blunder casts doubt on the whole establishment and its otherwise carefully cultivated aura of authenticity.

Read moreThe flavors are on point! I’m leaving a positive review because I think the food is super good and this is a nice addition to the neighborhood. I picked up to go, and they accommodated my request to not put the meat in the broth so I could do it myself at home. That being said, I do think the meat portions were very small. In the beef bahn mi, there was really not much brisket. I also ordered an extra portion of the steak for my pho, and was surprised by how much meat there was total. I called the restaurant to double check if the portion I was given was in fact extra. I wish they would specify on the menu how much meat comes with the pho. Like for example, 2 ounces of meat comes in the pho and extra is $4 for another 2 ounces or something. I’m hoping since this is a recent addition they take some feedback because I’d like to be a repeat customer! Delicious,...
Read moreI love how the pork sausage spring roll came out really fresh. The sausage was warm, had multiple textures in the role, including a crispy something that really helped with the flavor and texture experience. It was complimented with a delicious thick peanut sauce with peanut chunks. I could not get enough! The oxtail soup was definitely delicious and perfectly seasoned. I had a little trouble eating itwiht my chopsticks. I really had to get my hands in there to get all the goodness. I crave to taste these dishes again.
I liked how efficient their ordering system at the front and the strong branding in their restaurant was appealing to a young crowd. I was very happy to see that a whole family with elders and kids were enjoying the place tho. It very telling that this is a good...
