There shouldn’t be a reason why these workers aren’t taking our orders seriously!!!! We ordered 2 salads and 2 bags of extra bread that comes in a paper bag. As you can see in the picture, The receipt clearly says to sides of extra bread but we only got two salads and the bread was completely left out. This is the umpteenth time that this has happened. These workers have only included the bread in our order twice. Compare that to the “6-7 times” that the order has been screwed up. It’s ridiculous! We never said anything to them until now. They also NEVER answer their phone and the voicemail has been full since the first time we tried calling. We just call DoorDash and get a refund from them every time there is a discrepancy. I took the time out of my busy life to go to the location and I demanded to speak to a manager or supervisor. They repeatedly told me that they didn’t have a manager or supervisor available. I had my daughter record the situation and then proceeded to complain about my issues with them. I mentioned how we would appreciate it if they get the orders correct as it tends to be very frustrating when it is delivered without what we paid for!!! Of course, the first thing they do is apologize and offered me free food. That doesn’t help! The principle of the matter is for these workers to do the orders correctly so we can enjoy our meal. It’s their job to do so. The purpose of having your food getting delivered becomes pointless because you end up feeling obligated to leave your home when you didn’t even want to. It’s ridiculous!!! The simple instructions that we asked for, such as—adding the extra bread, leaving chicken out of one of the salads for a person that is vegan, AND…adding romaine lettuce instead of iceberg lettuce, tend to be a freaking issue. Sometimes, we find things like corn, peanuts, black beans and onions in our salads; things that are not part of the meal in our food!!!!!! We’re in a pandemic! People have allergy issues or are just plain disgusted by some of these things on their food! It could be anything and could lead to health issues! They need to pay attention and be concious of what they’re doing with these orders for their customers. This location will do it to the wrong person one day. Maybe when corporate or a lawsuit is involved, they’ll be considerate. We contact DoorDash EVERY SINGLE TIME! They tell us they are sorry for the inconvenience and render refunds. It’s not fair. We pay money for this delivery service so we deserve to be satisfied at least 95% of the time. It’s Terrible! I purposely asked for management when I visited the location, just to avoid leaving this review. I was promised that they would be keeping an eye out from that moment on. They even took down the full names of my sister and I, only to screw up the order again…not even 3 days later, and it’s even worse. SMH I will be contacting Stone Oven’s corporate office. Something needs to be done about this terrible service...
Read moreMy wife loves Stone Oven so when we were inside Topanga Mall, she wanted to get her spicy chicken sandwich for dinner. We came around lunch time but they were not busy at all. We were able to place our order and then watch how they made it. They somehow give me a mall employee discount so that's always good. I watched how they made the bread and then put it in their oven. It took about maybe 5 or 10 minutes to make the sandwich because they were making other orders as well. The service was good until my food was ready. They called the number and then walked away, I wanted to ask for a bag but all the employees just ignored me until some girl saw I been standing there for a while. She asked what I wanted in a non friendly tone and I just said a to go bag. She handed it to me and give that look of annoyance so that was my only complaint here. My wife loved her...

There was a special instructions note to make the modifications I needed. I received my order and was very dissatisfied as nothing had been followed. I then contacted GrubHub to see if they could fix my order and they couldn't so they refunded me and told me to reorder and then call the store to get it right. I placed the order AGAIN and called them 6 TIMES with pickup/hangup each time!! I had to cancel my order and miss out on lunch because they ended up dismissing everything. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED.
