Benny's Tacos & Rotisserie Chicken in Culver City 🇲🇽 — Restaurant in Los Angeles

10/18/24 The worst service from a woman named “Teresa” who said she was a manager. So rude and extremely unprofessional. We’ve been ordering from Benny’s through Uber Eats for a year now and we love the food. But they always short us out in our orders. We let it slide many times when they leave out the extra side orders of rice and beans, which is the only thing my daughter can eat because she suffers from a rare gastrointestinal syndrome. I always get the green enchiladas. And they have forgotten to add the lettuce and avocado that come with it.

After about 5 mistakes 5 different times, I made sure I called the restaurant directly after placing my orders to ensure we got everything we paid for and that went well. So on September 30th we placed an order, I didn’t call to verify trusting that they would get it right after all the other times they didn’t, because we should not have to call a restaurant every time you order on Uber Eats to make sure the order is fulfilled correct. Unfortunately they again shorted us on an order of rice and beans (we ordered 2). I called and spoke to a woman manager who’s name I don’t recall, who assured us that she would leave a note in the back with my name, phone number and order details, noting they would send us the side of beans and rice that they owed us on our next order, since we didn’t have the means to drive there that night to pick up the missing items. Which is the reason we ordered delivery. Tonight 10/18/24 The female “manager” Teresa refused to honor the rice and beans that they rightfully owed us. She said many female employees were not working there anymore and she wanted the name of the manager we spoke to on 9/30/24. We are talking about two items that are priced at $2.99 each. I told her she could look up what manager was working that night. She refused to listen to me and was rude and unprofessional that I had to ask her for the owners name which she said “NO!” We have sent so many friends and family to this place because we love the food but after this experience we will not. The food was #Amazing, the tortillas were fresh and melted into the food in every bite. I had the fish tacos, 1 grilled, 1 fried. The grilled was tender and flavorful, and the Pico and cabbage appeared to be either marinated and sautéed that when you took a bite, it wasn't raw veggies but tender Atop were 2 slices of avocado. The fried was light and crispy with the same topping as the grilled fish. The tacos were accompanied by tortilla chips, a Tamitillo sauce (mild) red sauce ( spicy) and a cream sauce all in individual containers, all delicious and taste fresh and homemade. Try Benny's, you won't be disappointed, also note, that if you are eating in the restaurant your food is delivered to you on a plate by the Amazing staff. Speaking of the staff, when you arrive, you are greeted with a smile and joy. Parking is minimal for this location, having multiple open businesses in the complex. The burrito was packed with tender, perfectly seasoned carne asada and juicy rotisserie chicken, wrapped in a warm, fresh flour tortilla.
