BevMo! — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Bev Mo, now branded as Go Puff, is now a convenience store with hygienic products, groceries, and alcohol. They have delivery until late nights and a decent selection of items you need at the last minute, but that’s where it stops! At the surface! Don’t judge the book by it’s cover. 📚Read on… The grocery items are overpriced and when I mean overpriced I mean at least 20 - 40 percent higher than the overpriced grocery store prices! I was there last week and bought a couple vegan prepared sandwiches and I’m so sorry I did because they were soggy and tasted so bad at $8 a package. I purchased a beverage that was about 15 oz that cost almost $2.00 more than a grocery store price for the same size and brand. And for what I bought that day (and it was an emergency purchase)I paid too much! If you have time to go to the grocery store or cook at home, avoid buying grocery products here. It’s disgusting how they rip off consumers.

Also,I want to mention, this place was a zoo on NY eve. A line wrapped around the corner to the end of the store and if you know how big this store is, you know what I mean. All the douche bags came in for alcohol because apparently they are too stupid (or drunk) to understand the simple concept of understand that there are “other” locations to purchase alcohol. I really disliked that as i am heading towards the ice to get a bag the person assigning the customers to cashiers says really loud "whoever hasnt been asigned a register, please wait on the line. The line is over here." Then as I am waiting for my friend to pay, the cashier asks me if I touched any of the alcohol in the store. See if it was normal procedure to card anyone who touches alcohol they would do it at the door not at checkout. I may be exaggerating but that was just rude, so i did the mature thing and ignored her childish question. I actually love bevmo, so this review breaks my heart.

Went to this location three times. Two of the times, an employee at the front was loudly complaining about fellow employees taking their breaks and refusing to work off the clock. African American gentleman, very overweight. Said that his fellow employees were "only in it for the money" and "not team players". If it was one time, I would have disregarded it, but two times in front of customers loudly calling out the employees full name while just sitting near the front and not working himself is just disgusting.
