After a solidcore workout in Culver City, I stopped by this spot for a healthy yet super affordable Japanese meal 🍣 — and wow, it did not disappoint! I used to visit their Ktown location, so I was thrilled to find out they opened one near my office!
Here’s what we ordered: 🍣 Hawaiian Roll & Super Dragon Roll — The Hawaiian roll was packed with fresh tuna and topped with fish roe, with spicy tuna inside for extra texture and flavor. The Super Dragon roll came with sweet unagi on top, a touch of garlic chips, and peppers — perfectly balancing the richness of the eel. Bonus: all rolls are BOGO 50% off right now, such a steal!
🍜 Clam Soba & Spicy Miso Ramen — The clam soba honestly surprised me; the broth was incredibly fresh and light with tons of clams, bean sprouts, and seaweed — super comforting and healthy. The spicy miso ramen was just as flavorful as I remembered from their other location — rich broth that’s been simmered for 13 hours!
🥗 Cubed Sashimi Salad & Salmon Carpaccio — The sashimi salad was huge, loaded with salmon, tuna chunks, and a generous piece of crab meat — perfect post-workout meal! The salmon carpaccio was also super fresh; a squeeze of lemon made it even better.
Everything tasted fresh, prices were very reasonable (around $20–30 per person), and the service was quick. They also have self-ordering once you’re seated — ideal for introverts like me 😭. Highly recommend this spot for Culver City folks looking for fresh, high-quality, and budget-friendly Japanese...
Read moreI came here for dinner on a Monday evening, since I was already in the area at 6PM. Since I arrived before the dinner rush, there was plenty of seating available. The ambiance is very modern, hip and vibrant. I was greeted by Naomi and she handed me a laminated menu. There's an option to order using the tablets installed on the table or directly to the waiters/waitresses on duty. Since Naomi kindly offered to take my order, I accepted the gesture and ordered directly to her. I ordered a Shoyu Ramen that is non-spicy, with Chicken Breast.
The ramen noodles were al dente and the broth was perfectly seasoned with umami. I also like the bamboo shoots that complement the crispness of the ramen noodles. It came with a half slice of soft boiled egg, caramelized onions and chopped green onions. My only minor issue was the chicken breast was overcooked, which led to a dry texture. Perhaps, I suggest slicing the chicken breast into thinner pieces so that it won't feel too dry upon chewing. Despite that slight hiccup, I'm confident that Blosom will improve their quality and enhance their authentic Japanese flavors as they embark on their new era at La Cienega Plaza. I will definitely come back to try other ramen variants and other Japanese dishes on the menu. Next time, I'll bring my friends...
Read moreWonderful experience! Fresh healthy Japanese fair! Friendly people! I’ve lived in this neighborhood 36 years and my life just got better with this new (open September 2025) place. At first I ordered the Hawaiian Roll but the spicy tuna was way too spicy for me. I re-ordered the Blosom Signature Roll with baked scallops and crab meat with Masago and eel sauce on top. It was sensational. There’s bicycle parking in front too! Music a bit loud too much hiphop I guess that’s due to the young gen z clientele. Clean modern bathroom! Highly...
