I had a terrible experience at this restaurant just now. I called ahead to ask if there was outdoor seating as I have a tiny puppy I need to travel everywhere with since she is 17 blind and deaf. Whoever I spoke to on the phone was super nice and said there was no problem as long as the dog stayed in the enclosed stroller. I was looking forward to celebrating my birthday here today in the company of my parents that travelled all the way from South America. We parked the car, checked in and we sat down. Shortly after the manager sent the waiter to tell us the dog was not allowed in their premises. I explained I had call ahead to ensure I could bring the dog. The manager asked who I had spoken to. I said it was a woman. He said that was impossible because he only has 1 waitress. I said I did not ask for a name. He then proceeded to call me a liar. At that point I said I was not staying as he could not treat a customer that way. As I was leaving then my husband said to him I had my phone on speaker the day before and everyone heard the lady had confirmed there was outdoor seating and it was ok to bring the dog. The manager started asking him to show him proof and that's when my husband said you could have handled this much better by just explaining someone made a mistake in the information but he was out of line calling me a liar. I have no intention to ever coming back to this restaurant. I am new to LA and was really looking forward to visiting as I had heard great things about it. The manager definitely needs some training on etiquette, respect and...
Read moreToday was very disappointing. We visited this place for the first time in five years. The last time we came, the service wasn’t great, but a friend recently told me they had a good experience, so we decided to dine in for my birthday. That visit actually turned out well. Their minimum tip policy was 18%, and we gave more than that. We also noticed they now calculate tips after tax, which used to be before tax.
A month later, we came back today and had a terrible experience. First, we were seated at a corner table where no one checked on us. Our water was never refilled. I tried to make eye contact with a young male server. He did come over, but he was clumsy—he dropped meat into the gas stove, and when cutting our onion bud, a quarter of it fell off the grill. We had about five to six rounds of Gold, but no one ever changed our grill. By the last round, the grill was completely burnt, and I had to stop him from cooking more meat on it. I asked him to replace it.
In the past, we had good service from a female server who was skilled at grilling, and a male server with glasses who seemed like the manager. Because of our last experience, we expected something similar, but today we felt ignored and overlooked. Maybe they remembered us and assumed we don’t tip well—even though the minimum tip is already 18% after tax.
Also, all the meats today were extremely salty. I don’t know what happened, but it was too much. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Read moreAs soon as you enter through the first set of doors to this amazing place you will smell the aroma of amazing Korean BBQ and hear the liveliness of the music. They make you wait a few short minutes and then they seat you with all the ban chans and sauces ready to go. Snack on what you like while you wait for your first two meats to be cooked on their grill. The staff is quick, friendly, and attentive to everyone around them. They also are pretty knowledgeable.
The high point to Brothers is their banchan aka side dishes. there is easily 20-25 side dishes that they bring out alongside the meat that you order that you fill up quick and are so satisfied with the different flavors that korea has to offer. I love how quickly the server brought our meat and changed the grill for us very frequently. this place is so different from the surrounding meat places in LA simply because of the quality. I would reccomend getting the meat platter that varies from bulgogi, galbi, rib eye, and steak. it has a perfect mix and you can mix and match for any meat palette with all of the side dises that come out with the meal. the restaurant itself if clean and very well lit. it is nice to see the place keep the traditional roots with the wooden and oak style tables and benches. really a stellar place to fill up and feel like you got your...
