I used to go to this place a lot as a kid with my friends. Always loved the food. Unfortunately, I took my wife and one of my other friends here for the first time, and it was terrible.

The food was great as always. It was the service that was very sub-par. To start off, our waitress would disappear for 15 to 20 minutes at a time. At other resteraunts, this is not a problem, but when you have a 3 plate at a time per table maximum and a large group of people, that food gets eaten up very quickly, especially with very thin meats like bulgogi that take very little time to cook. That accompanied with a 2 hour time limit, speed of service is essential in a resteraunt like this.

On top of disappearing for 15 minutes at our time, our waitress would order us the wrong meats. This was disappointing because when we tried to change it to what we wanted she would tell us "there is a three meat plate maximum per table" and basically made us cook and eat the meat we didn't even order in order to order the meat we actually wanted in the first time.

A couple of times , hen we tried to order other things such as rice paper or rice, she would tell us that "we were only allowed to order meat right now", which made absolutely no sense. Other tables with other wait staff seemed to have no problem ordering what they wanted or needed.

One of the times when she had been gone for a while, I had a list of about 5 things we needed because it had been so long since our table had been serviced. In the middle of giving her what we wanted, she straight up interrupted me and said , "That's enough, I'll take the rest of your order after I get your water."" She never got back to us. We had to bother a busser , and we politely asked him if we could get rice paper and rice. 5 min later , different busser came out and gave us what we needed. The waitress then came back 5 min later with half of what we asked for and then proceeded to ask us what meats we wanted to order, completely ignoring the other half of the order we asked her for.

When we went to pay, she swiped my Mastercard. I know for a fact they accept Mastercard because I have paid with Mastercard here before several times. The magstripe on my card wasn't working, so I asked her if she could just input it manually or use a different reader. She refused to do either of those things. She's disappeared for two minutes, came back, and said, "My manager says we don't accept this card." As I said, I know they do. I was just too fed up and wanted to get out, so my wife used her card.

The waitress refused to give my wife the card reader. She wouldn't let go of it. My wife practically had to pull it out of her hands. After this, she walked behind my wife to see what she was doing and to see how much she was going to tip. My wife did not tip because of the such poor service and attitude we have received from the waitress. After getting the check, the waitress had the nerve to confront my wife and say, "So no tip?". My wife politely told her no. She glared at all of us and continued to glare at us as we walked out of the restaurant.

Never have I EVER not left a tip for a sit-down resteraunt. I always tip 15 to 25% unless the service is exceptionally bad. This was the first time the service had been so bad that I have decided not to tip. The sheer disrespect by the waitress towards my wife and I made the night not enjoyable. It's a shame because I really liked this place and now my wife and my friends (two of them it was their first time) have no intention of ever returning because of how bad the service was. The food was amazing as always, and I know there are lots of good severs here, but that waitress was beyond rude and...

This is definitely one of the most expensive all you can eat Korean barbecue places that I’ve been to before. I will structure this review on a timeline from my arrival to my departure.

First of all, they have parking at the back of the building which is validated for up to four hours if you eat at this restaurant. That makes it super easy to park here during the day, however at night time you can also just park at any of the meters as it is free after 6 PM.

We came as a group of seven, and outside the restaurant they have an iPad where you can join the waitlist for the restaurant. Wait times are not bad at all. It took us about 10 minutes before we were seated.

As soon as we were seated, staff came to ask us what we wanted to order. The one issue I had was that at the beginning, staff were taking incredibly long to come bring us water as well as our first round of meat.

We decided on the premium all-you-can-eat option which is at a pricey $48. They have a normal deluxe option that is at a more reasonable $36. However, if you want galbi, you’ll have to shell out for the higher price.

We got a ton of meats including galbi, pork belly, beef brisket, beef belly, boneless short rib, rib fingers, beef tongue, and their deluxe steak.

All of the meats were excellent, however the brisket, beef belly, and galbi were the stars of the show.

We also got a ton of banchan (side dishes) including macaroni salad, radish wraps, rice paper wraps, jasmine rice, kimchi, spicy cucumber, salad, onions, garlic, and jalapeños.

For the sauces, they gave us a sweet sauce, assessment oil, and a spicy sauce. Make sure to ask for salt because you need to add that into your sesame oil. Sesame oil plus salt is the best dipping sauce there is in my opinion.

We ate to our hearts’ content. Here, they let you order for up to two hours, which is much more than the usual 90 minutes at most other KBBQ restaurants.

In the end, we spent about $60 per person after tax and tip. It was definitely a pricey experience but really excellent in terms...

We arrived there at 2 p.m on Sunday. It was pretty empty. There was no wait to be seated. I got rather annoyed because the person who took us to our seat immediately did a face when she saw our two children with us. We had to be seated in the back next to two other people who were eating as well. Why weren't we given our own table if the place was empty. There was enough room to seat us anywhere. When the other people seated next to us left; no one came by to clean their table and we had to sit with dirty dishes next to us while we were seated. The server was wondeful and she really tried her best to serve us but we could tell she was overwhelmed. The restaurant was clearly understaffed and she was busy serving multiple people. We saw down and started ordering what kind of meats we wanted. We ordered brisket and pork belly to begin with. They gave us the smallest portion for brisket I have ever seen. It barely fed one person to begin with. Ths pork looked old and was very bland. In fact, all the food tasted old and bland. We asked for sesame and salt to help with the blandness of the food. I asked for corn cheese and the cheese on it tasted rancid. We were disappointed because this was our favorite korean bbq. Unfortunately, this isn't our first time we have bad experiences coming here. This is the third time this has happened and we all agreed this was the last time we will ever come here. We have been coming here for years and the quality of everything has gone down. It's too hyped up now, too overpriced, small portions of everything, old food, and the staff follow you to the register to make sure you pay. I wouldn't reccomend any coming here especially if you have...

When in LA’s Koreatown and you really want that iconically delicious All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) Korean BBQ experience for a good price, you absolutely need to come to Bulgogi Hut. Bulgogi Hut is a family-owned business in Koreatown that really hits the bullseye for a well-rounded experience in price, wide array of menu options, and of course, deliciousness! Make sure to also ask for Sandra as your server, as she will really make sure you get the best sampling of everything. She helped us grill all of our meat to perfection and even gave us suggestions on her favorite things to order. You will be walking out of here happily full with a great taste in your mouth (literally) and having had a good time. I like to talk out-of-town visitors and even local friends here and usually get the Deluxe meal for $36 per person—a steal. But if you really wanna splurge a bit, I highly suggest also going for the Premium menu option for $48 a person! It comes with premium options such as their 21-day aged bone-in short rib and premium ribeye steak. They have a great selection of Korean side dishes that is the mark of a great spot like cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi, japchae, miso soup, tofu soup, steamed egg, and so much more. Pro tip: Don’t order a side of rice because you’ll be wanting to eat everything else and leave room for all that meat, because rice will just fill you up. I also suggest ordering some of their yogurt soju options, especially the peach flavor, as it’s refreshing and will pair so well with the rich meat. Having gone here many times, my favorite way to end each meal is to order the cinnamon sugar pineapple. It’s the right amount of sweetness and a great finale to the feast!
