Came here on a cold and rainy day to try out their hot drinks, and I ended up ordering the warm Sweet Taro Sago latte, and it absolutely did not disappoint!
I got it with soy milk (which they charge $0.75 extra if you want soy or oat milk) but this made it lighter and less creamy than their recommended whole milk. But still, the amount of fresh taro they put in, along with their sago was perfect and having adjusted the sweetness level to 70% was perfect so it wasn’t overwhelming. The drink also did not come out, steaming hot, and in fact, it was warm and ready to be enjoyed.
Inside there was one working ordering station, but you can always order at the counter, and the staff was friendly. Credit Card is accepted in contactless way, and the drinks did not take too long to come out. Although I will say that it wasn’t so busy when I arrived.
I loved that the inside was nice and warm. They had a few 4 seaters anda small 2 person table; and the tables were clean. They have a parking lot which is free for pick up of drinks and food, otherwise you could park on the street.
Their restroom is a single private space booth any gender and it was clean.
Overall - I’m definitely returning for their warm Sweet...
Read moreFinally! A yifang tea in LA. I've had this boba chain a few times now and personally it's not my favorite, but only because I don't like fruity teas. Other than that one personal preference, this is probably a top tier and likely a top choice boba place for a lot of people. I stick with heir milk/brown sugar boba drink and despite my lactose intolerance still manage to enjoy it. The location of this boba spot is pretty much amazing. It's in the heart of korea town and super close to a bunch of great KBBQ spots (including a sister restaurant to the Kang ho dong(sp?)) KBBQ locations. Definitely swing by here to start your night/end your night after a dinner or night out on the town in KTOWN. also, there's a bunch of board games to play and even a little arcade machine to play if you're looking for something to do while you...
Read moreWintermelon latte w pearl (no ice):
This drink can't have sugar level adjusted but despite that it wasn't too sweet. There's that nice wintermelon flavor and the milk isn't too milky. The boba is absolute garbage though; it's too small and hard and barely has any flavor.
Yifang fruit tea (half ice 30% sugar):
At 30% sugar this is perfect. Do not ever get 100% (I've tried it before without anybody warning me and it was mad nasty). At 30% it's perfectly sweet. There are candied pineapple bits in the bottom and passion fruit seeds which adds texture so there's no need to add the nasty boba. The apple and orange pieces are great when youre finished with the drink. The drink itself tastes fruity and refreshing but isn't worth...
