Correas Mariscos & Cocina — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This is one of my favorite spots for Mariscos! I am slowly working my way around the menu and I have to say my favorite item so far is the Eternal burrito. I normally the the Eternal burrito with Shrimp. The mango habanero salsa is amazingly spicy and adds a depth and complexity that is welcome on all the menu items. My only minor complaint is that they get very busy during lunch but they take orders for pick-up which solves all of my problems. I might add that they serve quality food at a reasonable price. Delicious fried shrimp and battered fish tacos! Combination of salsas and sauces was on point. Be sure to eat the fried shrimp taco right away so it doesn't get soggy! Generous portions of protein as well. Service was excellent. This location is walking distance from LA General Hospital and the USC Health Science Campus. Plenty of outdoor seating behind the restaurant. The ambiance is very clean and comfy overall. Highly recommend for a quick lunch! We found them at Smorgasburg and opted for a mango shrimp ceviche to try while waiting for our tacos at the booth next door. Oh my goodness, it was so refreshing and we really enjoyed the flavor. The mango and the sauce def gave it a good acidity. Not to mention, the shrimp was fresh too. I can't help but notice that the prices they charged were slightly higher at Smorgasburg compared to their store, would love to try out in the store for more options.
