Fatburger & Buffalo's Express — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I've to this location many times as it is close to my house. I've been to many around Los Angeles because it is my favorite burger. I'm not one to say what great place it is because it's popular or or popular to say so. I just say it like I see it. This was like all the rest when it opened up. Consistent! Since then the service has declined. I was there yesterday and got a dbl. king combo. The food was good but it took a bit to get the cashiers attention. No biggie but I noticed because I chose to dine in, I was given a number on a stand like a few other customers. What was different is they call out your number and you go yourself to get your own food instead of it brought to you. Most fast food places will call out a number and you get your own food. Not at Fat Burger, or so I thought. That may not be a big deal for some but because of my hip it is difficult to get in and out of my seat. It's not like it was busy or short staffed. I will continue to go there in the hopes that things will change. I still love the food but service is part of the experience. After all with the prices consumers are paying these days good food and service go hand in hand. I've had other less than pleasurable experiences here incase anyone...

My husband had the original, and I had the impossible burger. Mine was okay. Not a lot of flavor in it though. Didn't taste like plant food or anything, but what made me disappointed was my husband's original. I even tried it, and it didn't even have any flavor in it either. I remember when I was growing up that the place allowed you to build it your own way just like Subway, and the place was like an actual diner just like Johnny Rockets. Now it looks like where the kabob was. There doesn't even seem to be any modifications to it. Just put a slab a paint on it and call it a day. I am pretty sure I may have went not on a good day, but I was sadly disappointed because I grew up with fatburger. It was nothing like this. Finally, the fires weren't that great. We asked for well done, and it tasted more like fries from burger kings. My final verdict of this place is maybe go when you are really hungry, and you don't want to have panda. Do not place phone order,you tell them Specifically what you want, They forget half your order an charge you for full order then say, You didn't pay for the fries ect. Yes ,I should have checked when I picked it up. But I shouldn't have too if they get The Order Right. An I did pay for Everything.! All I ordered were 4 items. An you can't get that right!? Wow!
