Hawaiian BBQ House — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I just came back from Hawaii and wanted some Hawaiian food... I went inside and the place looks like its Chinese food. I started looking up at the menu but it didnt look too appealing so i asked for "a plate exactly like that one, but.instead of beef, i wanted teriyaki chicken".. Plate came.with salad, macaroni salad, rice, and meat. I paid.. With a Snapple it came out to 7ish. Left to eat at work. Once i got there, i had a plate alright. No salad, but i got double my chicken sides, rice and macaroni. O.o i thought i asked for the one with salad. on another note, the food was good. Chicken was tasty. macaroni was okay. tasted like mayo with pasta but okay i guess. I would go back if i am in the area. Service was super duper fast though!!!! Had one person taking my order and another doing my.coworkers order.. Have in mind she.didnt...

Like a slice of Asia. Amazing complex flavors at a steal of a price compared to the rest of Los Angeles. I came here for a quick bite to eat, and was pleased with the service and taste of the mushroom chicken. Plus, for literally $4, they filled my little Tupperware to the brim with food. I was surprisingly full, felt great, and spent nearly nothing on my meal.

Inside feels like L&L Bbbq (Hawaiian chain) mixed with Panda Express. They have all their ready-made food in a hot display case. Ask to try anything as a sample, their orange chicken is quite good!

Overall, I like this place. It's pretty decent and as best as I can tell, they don't use MSG.. But I had to comment on my negative experience yesterday.. They have a new hire, a thin fairly tallish young Asian woman. Her customer skills are lacking but what was worse is that after she served my food, she proceeded to scratch her ear, digging deep and flicked her ear wax onto the counter.. I kid you not, she did this right in front of me as I paid for my food. She then proceeded to help the next customers and didn't wash her hands... I will think twice about buying next time if I see her behind the...
