Terrible food and it’s way overpriced. Today was my first time going there and it will be my last. I ordered a carne azada burrito to go. I gave the cashier a $20 bill and she said $3.00 of change were due. Until she realized that I could see the register from where I was standing that she decided to give me my $9.60. When I got home, I noticed that the burrito was mostly rice and beans. Almost no meat. The picture below shows how much rice I took out from the burrito. Also, after opening the burrito I noticed that the meat didn’t look fresh at all. THE WORST BURRITO I HAVE EVER HAD. So nasty I couldn’t finish it. Please don’t go there!!

Supremely underrated neighborhood treasure. The barbacoa tacos unfurl their delicious flavor onto the palate with a stewy triumph. The fashion in which they prepare their horchata is not to be unappreciated. Order at least one. Support this business. Support their love. Learn Spanish.

The amount of my check was $14. Something but the voucher was for $16 and something. Is not about the difference of $2.00. Is that they don't have any sign announcing the fee. This kind of surprises is not nice😏

I'm from Richmond, VA. My older son and I are in LA visiting the younger son who lives in Korea Town. It's Mother's Day, we want Mexican. The Mexican fare in my city is watered down to suit the tastes of what Southerners think it should taste like...or something like that because I'm not sure what I ordered from this little place that sits in a small strip mall surrounded by Korean businesses. I've never tasted anything like it. I've obviously been tricked into thinking I've been eating real Mexican food my whole life. Our meal was awesome. What I found to be EXTRA touching was a gift of homemade pastries, wrapped in a pretty package, given to me by the owner, for Mother's Day. I'm not sure if I'll be back to this area anytime sooner or later, but, if and when I do return, I shall stop there again. You should go!! Staff is super...

We love to try different types of food. The little restaurant was cute and very decorative of native Mexican heritage. The waitress lady was very nice and hospitable. I had the Huevos Rancheros, and my husband had a plate that looked like a pizza (cant recall the name) The huevos rancheros were a bit bland, the tortilla was not crispy and hard to cut. The beans were good and the rice was just ok. The plate that looked like a pizza, was a crispy tortilla, with bean spread, cheese, cabbage piece of chicken, piece of milanese ( which didnt seem fresh) . My daughter got an Orchata, different it was.. pink in color with chunks of melon, watermelon and walnuts. Wi wouldnt order posole or as we did see them bringing in cans to the kitchen, so def....

One of the more authentic Oaxaqueñan food in Los Angeles, prepared in a down to earth setting. The servers are quick and friendly and the food comes out mouth watering hot and delicious.

Highly recommend you get a Tlayuda, which is a typical Oaxacan dish that could be translated as a Mexican Pizza. But that in it self does not do the food justice as it is a very large tortilla served toasted with beans and cheese and your picking of vegetables or meat or “why not both!?”

Their home made salsa is also to die for!

Parking on site but be warned that this place is small...
