3/5 stars

The first time I tried this place I thought their Lamb combo plate was the most amazing type of Indian food I've ever tried, but as I kept coming here because I thought the food was THAT good I started to get tired of the meal and eventually went to another Indian restaurant called Bombay Beach. Both places are tasty restaurants that will have you dwelling in Indian food.

4/5 stars

I opted for the Vegan Tofu Curry, Garlic Naan, and Vegetable Biryani.

The Naan definitely did what is was supposed to, I really like Naan and this one tasted very authentic and delicious. The Tofu Curry was good even though I completely ate around the tofu... HAHAHA, but here me out. I like tofu, but only when I make it. I can 100% try different tofus, but mine will always be superior. So, I ate around the tofu and the veggies and creamy sauce were flavorful and filling. I really enjoyed myself. It also came with Basmati Rice, so the Naan, Rice, and Curry hit the spot.

The Vegetable Biryani is a lot. Good price for all this dam rice, haha, but I definitely didn't finish. A good try, but not something I would get again.

That Curry, Garlic Naan, and Basmati Rice were my favorite...

The food is BUSSIN’ That’s all you need to know. If the food is taking a bit of a while to be made, you can trust it is of quality and it is authentic.

The restaurant owner serving me was so gentle in his service. I ordered online for pick up. It only took 5 extra minutes for me to get the food. Since I part of my order was for sharing with friends, I wanted to taste the biryani if it was worthy to be given to friends or family. Ha! Any way, I immediately went back in to order an additional plate of Lamb Biryani and Lamb Saag.

I respect places with great customer service as well; in fact, that is most important. I came in at a good time after lunch hours. However, Maybe I’m biased at times with foreigners, but I felt really catered to and the man listened & was patient. Truthfully, given the flavor and quality of food, along with the customer service, I highly recommend it as worth the wait if you ever encounter it at a busy time. But to be safe, if you’re the “I want my food and I want it now” person, please order online 30-45mins in advance and write notes in your order! Everything was fire. Lamb Biryani is a personal favorite and friend’s’ favorite.

First, I tend to be very generous with my reviews - since it is a very low rating, I'm taking detail to explain why.

I've had a long love affair with Indian food - if this had been my first experience, it would have been but a first date. -1 star: upon walking in and seeing vats of pre-made languising in chafing dishes, I asked if we ordered from the menu if it was prepared fresh - it was not. Ordered Saag Paneer and Chicken Vindaloo. BOTH were ladeled from the dish to saucepan and heated. Easy to watch. -1 star - the saag was soup, literally puddles of standing liquid. -1 star - I asked for some hot pepper to season the saag, give it a little spice - they gave me mint chutney. It would have ruined the dish entirely. -1 star - the food was out in 5 minutes, styrofoam to-go containers - not even a disposable plate for eat-in. -1 star - neither the owner (chef) nor the counter lady stepped out once. I think the counter girl muttered at us at some point but neither of us understood her from behind the counter mubmling to our table.

+1 star - I...

I recently visited this place and had an outstanding experience! Their food is exceptionally delicious, especially the chicken and vegetable MOMO which are one of THE BEST in LA. The vegetable chowmein and garlic naan were also fantastic. They have lots of vegetarian options too! The staff were incredibly friendly, making the overall atmosphere very welcoming. Prices are quite reasonable, offering great value for the quality. While they primarily focus on takeout orders, they do have parking available if you prefer to dine in. Highly recommend checking them out!
