Jumsim — Restaurant in Los Angeles

JumSim is a fantastic new addition to the local dining scene! My wife and I recently visited, and we were thoroughly impressed by the flavors and quality of the food. I ordered the veggie bibimbap, and it was not only delicious but also generous in portion – a perfect mix of fresh vegetables, white rice and sesame oil. My wife opted for the Veggie Japchae, and the noodles were absolutely amazing – flavorful and cooked to perfection!

To top it off, we were treated to a sample of their coffee after our meal, and it was a delightful surprise. Rich, sweet, and wonderfully balanced, it was the perfect end to our dining experience.

While we didn’t get a chance to try the self-serve ramen bar, it looked amazing, and I was excited to see vegetarian ramen as an option! I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying that next time.

02/10/25 I live nearby and have walked by countless times but I finally stopped and grabbed Kimbap for a post workout meal and it was so good! I only recently realized I looove Kimbap so now I’m obsessed and have to limit myself to only stopping in post-weekend workouts. The staff has been welcoming, interior clean and comfortable. The prices are affordable, especially if you are sharing with someone. They also carry instant Korean ramen packets that I think you can purchase a la carte, which for those of us without a vehicle, is a nice option in a pinch! Hoping to actually dine in with my partner for dinner sometime— will update my review if I try new dishes :)

Since my first try here I’ve had the chance to dine in once and ordered delivery for a small get together and received rave reviews from my guests! Jumsim is pretty much cemented into my life now!...

I was staying in Bell Gardens area but decided to drive 30min thru traffic based on reviews and catchy name for lunch today. Glad I did. Immediately met with smile from two ladies working, one of them owner. Ordered ramen and two gimbab, tuna and beef. Let me tell you gimbab was so fresh and tasteful, that it brought me back to my mom’s countryside in Korea. I could tell Kimchi was homemade. Gimbab portions was generous that I could only finish half. Leftover pic attached. I was impressed that I had to try out other dishes to go so I ordered stir fried squid and pork cupbab. They took extra care in packaging knowing food will sit my car for a while as I was traveling.
