This park, although widely known as a local DTLA Dog Park destination, is commonly also a birdwatching and bird feeding destination, as well. I frequent this park in the noontime and mid day afternoon, lately, to visit and check up on my pigeon and sparrow friends, and I toss them some freshly hand-prepared peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, soaked with ionic mineral-infused water, to help with their hydration and to bolster their Trace Mineral nutrient intake. It's is quite peaceful here despite being surrounded by traffic. Many owners with their pooches bring them here for socialization and Comradery both human and dog alike. While there isn't a fence, this is actually a good thing as it forces bad dog owners who haven't trained their dogs to stay close to stay away and only good dogs are allowed to come here.
