By far the worst restaurant I have ever been to in LA. Awful to the point that I am now positive all the long overly detailed 5 star reviews are completely fake. Everyone who has a hand in the establishment should feel overbearing shame. Incredibly low quality ingredients and ridiculously overpriced, and thats before the several different “service” fees and surcharge to pay with a card. Not Peruvian in the slightest and very much felt like a white midwestern moms idea of “latin” food. The chips were comically stale and tasted like an even more flavorless holy eucharist bread. The cheese was far worse then any of those stadium nacho cheeses that comes out of a machine, and it resembled (and tasted of) melted plastic. The bitcoin gimmick is bizarre and only served to make the environment that much more dystopian. Somehow was tricked into paying 80 dollars for two drinks, nachos, and a taco. I have never reviewed anything in my life this place was so objectively awful I felt morally obligated to warn others, as I too fell for the positive online reviews. Please do not support this place as it is a black hole of culture and a sheer mockery of the...
Read moreWe went for the 8:30p dance class. We arrived 8:20p. A server, very sternly told us "we are closed". (The door was open, in an open position) we asked about the Salsa class. He again responded very roughly, " we are closed, wait ten minutes. OUTSIDE!" WE TURNED AND WAITED OUTSIDE. We considered leaving due to the rude reception. The waiter came outside 7 minutes later and said, "okay!" And made a sweeping gesture with his arm while he has a pissed look on his face. Many people in line mentioned not feeling welcome. The waiter never smiled, never made us feel welcome or wanted. I know it's a free class but, you still have to have welcoming staff. It was the first time going there. We go to V lounge every Tuesday. Rain every Thursday. Plaza de la cultura once a month for Salsa. Once a month to Granada for Cuban events.omce a months to Floridita for Cuban event. Sometimes there are 7 in our group. And we invite several people. We like to celebrate birthdays and try to make a business successful. We are a group from SCV. WE ARE UNACCUSTOMED TO THE ROUGH TREAMENT WE RECEIVED FROM THE WAITER. I DON'T THINK WE WILL...
Read moreCame to La Jungla's nightclub? It sucks if u want to come to dance. The dj sucks at reading the crowd. I arrived at 11:30-11:40 pm and the dance floor is tiny and nobody is dancing. They were playing a bunch of reggaeton then started playing hip hop. They FINALLY plaid two cumbia songs, where the people went to the dance floor, then the dj changes back to reggaeton. I left. My time is too valuable to wait for the dj to get what the crowd wants to dance. Here's my tip to the business, if you want to make it into a dancing nightclub, play music the people want to dance. If you want to make it into a lounge, then promote it like a lounge. STOP SPAMMING people with "nightclub" emails if you are not going to deliver. For customers: I recommend Vive in Canoga Park for variety on Sat. night or Fri nights. If you want to dance to reggaeton, hip hop, EDM, go to Rain (close by in Studio City) Sat. nights where the dance floor is bigger and you get the vibe of...
