Kuishimbo — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I ordered Takoyaki, Chicken Karaage, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Dumplings. Each food item was pretty bland, and didn't taste like it was made from fresh ingredients, or the right ingredients. It didn't seem like each dishes was prepared with the correct spices/ingredients for each dish and it didn't really taste like Japanese food. The spicy tuna roll didn't taste like tuna at all, and wasn't spicy at all. I didn't finish that because I don't want to trust raw fish if they're skimping on ingredients. The chicken was kinda tough, and didn't come with any dipping sauce (aside from packets of soy sauce and chili oil). Staff was friendly enough, but I ordered take out, so it was a quick exchange. I could only truly wonderful things about this place I have been visiting with your book over 20 years despite that it went out of business for a little while because of the job market but as soon as they picked up in 08 it was a it's always been a beautiful experience eating the number for the number 3 teriyaki with beef teriyaki the rice and the salad I could only speak again Heavenly thing that he deserves a 5-star rating experience here with the workers the manager has been the best don't have no complains I come all the time with friends and they made new clientele because of the friends that I breathe I love this place also I hope it never changes that's I have to say...

I have been frequenting this franchise for decades starting with their Sherman Oaks location. They have remained consistent with how they cook and prepare their offerings, especially my favorite the charbroiled yakiniku rib eye combo with the Kuishimbo salad slaw and the tangy drinkable dressing. When they closed the Sherman Oaks location I was pretty bummed. Although not as often I would trek to the Los Angeles locations. Through it all they still have reasonable prices especially in comparison to other eateries.
