BEST SECRET SALON of K-POP STARS!!!

I came here by my friend’s recommendation. I need to get haircut and colored hair treatment for my upcoming vacation. Little that I know I will discover a hidden gem in the middle of Koreantown!!! Apparently, this place is very popular amongst K-POP stars. I am talking about the real KPOP stars, like: EXID, G-PARK, Juno-Flo, SuBin, Ted Park Boi, etc. When they come to USA for music concerts, they come here to get hair treatments and hairstyles. PARKING: $2 valet parking or self-street parking AMBIENCE: vibrant, young k-pop music, bright. There is graffiti wall behind the building and pink seating area in the front for selfie or picture prop. SERVICE: EXCEPTIONAL, polite, friendly and very accommodating. The staffs themselves look like come out from Korean Drama series: fashionable, young and presentable. Look for JJ (hairdresser) and Mia (assistant hairdresser). Upon arrival, you will be given a tray of various cute Korean snacks with 2 (two) different Korean drinks. You also could order free coffee/tea (hot/cold). You could even bring them back home if you cannot finish them during service. JJ was very attentive to my needs and wants. I told him of what I envisioned my haircut would be. He picked up quick and gave some suggestions. Honestly, I am very picky to get my haircut/hairstyle done, based on countless haircut nightmares in the past. I was glad that he could give suggestion from his expertise and hair trend observation. TIME: it was only around 1 hour and 15 minutes for hair treatment, scalp treatment and haircut!!! Hair colored treatment with B3 Brazilian Bond Builder: this is good for build bonds to make colored hair stronger and healthier. I saw that they have hair color service as well: balayage ombre with very strong BOLD colors: unicorn, grey, green, pink etc. I definitely will come here in the future for EXOTIC hair coloring transformation to HALLYU star!!! END RESULT: my hair feels soft silky smoother. I think that treatment does work wonder. My haircut and hairstyle definitely fit my face feature. 10/10 recommend. I found this salon on google/Yelp, and was immediately drawn to the fact that they have over 1k+ five star reviews! & to my benefit, it was totally reflective of my experience at the salon today.

I came in wanting a haircut and color change, and left totally satisfied! I experienced the best customer service and walked out of the salon with my hair looking better than ever! The hair consultation was very informative and I appreciated their honesty, especially since I have Asian black hair that I dyed back to black earlier this year. The staff was very kind and gave me their professional opinion on how my hair would respond to the hair dye and was realistic results I can expect. Nonetheless, my hair came out better than I expected!

I had the pleasure of working with Irene, and she did SUCH a good job. She was super sweet, listened to my concerns and wants, gave me a little scalp and neck massage when she washed my hair, cut it to perfection, styled it very beautifully, taught me how I can style it on my own, was very conscious to not get any dye on my skin, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time.

Soonie, the owner, is also so great and just by talking with him, you can tell how knowledgeable and well-deserving he is of the multiple 5-star reviews and awards he's received. He also has great customer service!

The other staff members were also really kind and welcoming.

The store was also pretty clean and cute. It wasn't too busy when I went as well, which is a plus! The bathroom was also maintained.

Parking wasn't the greatest, but there is a nearby lot that you can park in, unless you get lucky and find a spot in the plaza. They also offer refreshments (drinks and snacks), which were yummy!

In total, I spent $430 + tip; this included a free hair consultation, $130 for haircut, hair wash, hair styling, and $300 for all-over hair color.

TLDR: highly recommend, definitely worth the price....

First time getting my hair dyed and honestly couldn't have been a better experience!

HAIR:

I started out with never touched super dark brown hair and I wanted to go to light pink / lavender balayage in one session. We had to bleach it 3 times and although my skin is really sensitive, the wonderful hair stylists made sure my skin was treated and taken care of.

My hair turned out so beautiful; I was worried that it would be too blond but my hair stylists made sure that my opinions were taken into consideration and made sure to keep my roots near my brown by using a dark violet dye.

STYLISTS:

I worked with the stylists Chloe and Mina and they were INCREDIBLE. They checked on me constantly even as I was bleaching my hair and made sure all my needs were taken care of (asking how my hair was feeling, how I wanted it to look, etc. ) and we're just generally attentive with giving me snacks, charging my electronics, etc. I can't thank them enough for being patient with me during all of the bleaching and washing and drying my hair (which was repeated 3-4 times)

OVERALL EXPERIENCE:

Everyone in the salon is so friendly and makes you feel welcome! The salon is beautiful, brightly lit and full of large gold mirrors.

Right as you sit down, they hand you a tray of snacks and drinks and continually replenish them as you sit in the chair. I had two friends come visit me and even they were given refreshments! They provide you with chargers for your devices and cater to all your needs.

All in all, incredible salon with really friendly and experienced stylists! Definitely...
