I recently had the pleasure of dining at Woo Hyang Woo, and it was nothing short of a culinary revelation. From the moment I stepped into this hidden gem, I knew I was in for a remarkable experience.

Let's start with the star of the show - the food. Each dish that graced our table was a work of art. The flavors were not just exquisite; they were a symphony of taste, each ingredient harmonizing perfectly with the others. It's evident that the chefs at Woo Hyang Woo have an unwavering commitment to culinary excellence.

The menu offered a delightful array of options, from traditional favorites to inventive creations. The presentation was meticulous, with every plate resembling a masterpiece. The quality of the ingredients shone through, and I could taste the dedication that went into crafting each dish.

But what truly elevated this dining experience was the exceptional service provided by Alex. His knowledge of the menu was impeccable, and he guided us through our selections with expertise and enthusiasm. His warm and friendly demeanor made us feel like valued guests, and his attention to detail ensured that our dining experience was flawless.

Alex's recommendations were spot on, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. His passion for food and hospitality was palpable, and it enhanced our overall enjoyment.

In addition to the phenomenal food and service, the ambiance at Woo Hyang Woo was both inviting and cozy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable dining experience.

In summary, Woo Hyang Woo is a culinary treasure, and Alex is a server par excellence. This is a dining destination where passion, creativity, and exceptional service come together to create an unforgettable gastronomic journey. If you're a food enthusiast looking for an extraordinary dining experience, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Woo Hyang Woo. You won't be...

I’m a native San Diegan, so naturally when I come to LA I want to find the best food. I was really set on Korean BBQ, but the place I wanted to go to originally had a 2+ hour wait. We ended up putting our names down on the list for this place (still with a 1+ hr wait) and left to find somewhere else. To our surprise we got a call that our table was ready only 20 minutes after we left. I’m so glad that we came back. We ordered at least 6 different bottles of Soju, and when our waiter messed up one of our orders he gave us one on the house. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry many years, so I know how it goes when staff is busy and messes up here and there, so I wouldn’t take stars off for that, especially opening back up in a pandemic (not to mention it was insanely busy!). Our waiter, Alex, was SUPER awesome and funny. Very personable and he made our experience that much better. Now for the food — wow! Again like I said, I’m a native San Diegan and I dont come to LA often. The food in LA blows San Diego food out of the water. We ordered 3 of the steaks and some calamari. I dont think I’ve eaten so much food in my life. I couldn’t stop, it was so delicious. The kimchi is some of the best kimchi I’ve ever had, and every steak was so juicy and tender. We had multiple wait staff check in on us several times as well, so overall an amazing experience!! Would...

The food was decent but the service was lacking. It was small things I noticed. Nothing to be of major issue but definitely noticeable. I’ve had same food to same standards with better service. Meat was placed on the grill by the staff and thought someone would stop by to at least check on the first round of meat but I feel like the timing was just all off. By the time the staff would come by, the meat was on the verge of burning so I’d flip it already. But after I’d flip it, the staff would come by and attempt to flip it back…? But seeing someone come by our table was far and few. Like how some reviews said, the attentiveness was not present. Water wasn’t refilled until it was pointed out but even then it was a wait. We ordered couple other things a la carte and didn’t come out in time. Not until it was asked for again and the other was asked to be cancelled instead but it was ready by the time we asked, so we stayed to eat it. Asked for the check and needed some change back and it took like 15 minutes to get it. Not sure if it was lack of staff or if our table was bypassed to cater to other tables. Still left 20% because I understand that it might’ve just been a staff shortage. Regardless, the service was whatever so don’t know if...
