Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām a native San Diegan, so naturally when I come to LA I want to find the best food. I was really set on Korean BBQ, but the place I wanted to go to originally had a 2+ hour wait. We ended up putting our names down on the list for this place (still with a 1+ hr wait) and left to find somewhere else. To our surprise we got a call that our table was ready only 20 minutes after we left. Iām so glad that we came back. We ordered at least 6 different bottles of Soju, and when our waiter messed up one of our orders he gave us one on the house. Iāve worked in the restaurant industry many years, so I know how it goes when staff is busy and messes up here and there, so I wouldnāt take stars off for that, especially opening back up in a pandemic (not to mention it was insanely busy!). Our waiter, Alex, was SUPER awesome and funny. Very personable and he made our experience that much better. Now for the food ā wow! Again like I said, Iām a native San Diegan and I dont come to LA often. The food in LA blows San Diego food out of the water. We ordered 3 of the steaks and some calamari. I dont think Iāve eaten so much food in my life. I couldnāt stop, it was so delicious. The kimchi is some of the best kimchi Iāve ever had, and every steak was so juicy and tender. We had multiple wait staff check in on us several times as well, so overall an amazing experience!! Would...

Iāve had same food to same standards with better service. Meat was placed on the grill by the staff and thought someone would stop by to at least check on the first round of meat but I feel like the timing was just all off. By the time the staff would come by, the meat was on the verge of burning so Iād flip it already. But after Iād flip it, the staff would come by and attempt to flip it backā¦? But seeing someone come by our table was far and few. Like how some reviews said, the attentiveness was not present. Water wasnāt refilled until it was pointed out but even then it was a wait. We ordered couple other things a la carte and didnāt come out in time. Not until it was asked for again and the other was asked to be cancelled instead but it was ready by the time we asked, so we stayed to eat it. Asked for the check and needed some change back and it took like 15 minutes to get it. Not sure if it was lack of staff or if our table was bypassed to cater to other tables. Still left 20% because I understand that it mightāve just been a staff shortage. Regardless, the service was whatever so donāt know if...
